Watermarked images are insta-pull, and I often pull images added without discussion if it only happened recently (this one was in October, though). This is what it was◊ (caption: Master Chief himself comes with Halo 4's ultimate edition. He'll probably tell you to play more Halo).
It's fairly good — if a similar, unmarked image can be found, that'd be great.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. The image wasn't even strictly an example. That was a giveaway, which included a ton of Halo merch, the Legendary Edition among them (which by the way is just the helmet and the disc holders next to it). Here's◊ an image of the Duke Nukem Forever CE which is a straight example and isn't watermarked, but I think we could do better.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it."...but I think we could do better."
Dunno that is pretty good.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The bust really sells it
Well in that case here it is at 350:
I don't think we need a caption, though just 'Rated M for Manly' might suit it.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.That picture probably works. I don't think that caption is good, though.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. The Duke Nukem pic is great.
Agreed on Duke Nukem.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"A couple more votes and we can run with it.
I vote the Duke Nukem pic. This page image is probably the only thing Duke Nukem Forever is good for.
The Duke Nukem picture is great.
That bust is awesome. I've added the pic; caption ideas?

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going."Photos? Dice?! Hell yeah!"
Hearing nothing else, let's lock up and move on.
First off, this image has a Joystiq watermark on it. Watermarked images aren't allowed right? Next, it was added without discussion, so we didn't have an agreement to put it up. (Not that the second one is significant reason to take down an image on it's own, but it does mean the image has less going for it.) As well, the image is a bit grainy. Finally and most importantly, the image doesn't actually show the trope. What it shows is a bunch of Halo memorabilia, which would work better on Cash-Cow Franchise. It doesn't show a "special edition" of something, only things which you may or may not get from buying Halo games. (I know the helmet is from Halo 3 because two of my friends were discussing it when the game came out, but the drinks most likely aren't, because they would go bad. Also, I'm pretty sure you don't get those books or that iPod with the games, so they have no business being there.)
A good picture for this wouldn't be that hard to find. All we need is a comparison shot of the cover of the "normal edition" and "special edition".
