As a sliding scale, it should be inherently different from either extreme of the scale.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.I guess it's different in that this isn't about how much power characters have. It's about how much powers they need to qualify as a god. So, Super Weight would say "In work X, character A is 1 but character B is 2." Sliding Scale Of Godliness would say, "In work X, characters at 3 are considered gods. In work Y, characters at level 4 are."
That said, we should still cut this.
It's lackluster appearance is partially my fault, as I launched it but failed to follow up and tie it into everywhere it's related. As the YKTTW shows, Super Weight was not brought up, but if it had been I would have noted that this is specifically about what characters in story need to consider someone a god, not all the characters and their different Power Levels. The YKTTW also has several commenters note that Our Gods Are Greater needed division and that this should be one of the offshoots, but I haven't pursued that. Please take a look at that and see what you think. I'll also note that Super Weight is also in the repair shop, but I'll leave that to those already involved because I don't want to wade through 836 posts. Meanwhile, sometime in the next couple days I will look over this page and see what I can do to clean it up so that it doesn't look like a just-launched page and then we can review its status again. Does that work for the moment?

The article seems to be nothing more than Super Weight but for gods
