Probably the most normal image of the series.

The near future. Humanity has contracted the Bio Bug. A cellular fusion disease, that allows a person to absorb objects that they "love" through two holes in their palms. When high school friends Fujii, newly infected with the Bug, and Hosa, a high-tech assassin working for a secret organization, find out that they both love Fumiho Enomoto, they choose to protect her individually from those that abuse the Bio Bug. Yet, an act of courage will force them together on a warpath at the risk of death from a mysterious group of powerful Biorgs called the 21 Stars of Uranus.

Biorg Trinity features art by Oh!Great and a story written by Otaro Maijo. Being written by the author of the infamous Jorge Joestar light novel, you can expect many wild hijinks to ensue.

Tropes in Biorg Trinity include:

  • 20 Minutes into the Future: The series takes place some time into the future, but it's hard to tell besides from the occasional usage of futuristic weapons.
  • Animorphism: Anyone who has absorbed an animal is capable of turning into one. Matsukage Chieri does this in the first chapter when she turns into a butterfly/spider hybrid. Later chapters reveal that absorbing the fossil of an animal can achieve the same effect, such was the case of the girl who absorbed a dinosaur fossil.
  • Art Evolution: The art starts off strong and gets even more detailed as the series progress.
  • Author Appeal: Like other manga drawn by Oh!Great, this series features a healthy dosage of fanservice, visual metaphors, groundbreaking fights and incredibly intricate designs.
  • Battle in the Center of the Mind: Entering someone's Bug Hole can result in this.
  • Bio Punk: Bodily mutation is a major focus in this manga. Those inflicted with the Bio Bug can fuse with matter of a molecular level.
  • Butterflyof Transformation: Matsukage is often associated with butterflies and can even turn into a butterfly hybrid. This symbolizes her strong desire to change into someone she considers pretty.
  • Cool Bike: Kiwa has a pretty cool looking motorcycle that she can fuse with to do battle.
  • Design Student's Orgasm: Many of the panels and volume cover art feature this due to Oh Great's intricate art style.
  • Fantastic Drug: The Bio Bug seems to be based on modern digital drugs, such as binaural beats, since Matsukage takes the drug through her phone with headphones on. The drug is used to expel matter previously absorbed because of the Bio Bug Holes. This is not a perfect cure for the disease, and is only known to work on individuals for two doses.
  • Fusion Dance: Anyone with with Bio Bug Holes can absorb matter and molecularly fuse with it. This can also be done on other people, though it is illegal to do so. Fujii ends up fusing with Hosa to prevent him from dying.
  • Girl Next Door: Fumiho is presented as this with her having an easy going personality and is considered one of the most attractive girls in school.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Matsukage is a deeply insecure girl with a strong desire to be seen as pretty. Her current appearance is not her natural one since it was modeled after Fumiho's.
