I'd say leave it a little while longer. Still a couple of things to happen before I can allow more characters.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Nick the Swing showing up either. He too has a habit of creating characters, playing them for a short time and then dissapearing. Too bad he would fit right into any Mutant War arc.

I realize that he'll probably be difficult to work into the RP, since there hasn't been a lot of magical stuff to pop up yet.

• Gender: Male
• Age: Around his early thirties
• Appearance: By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth!◊
• Alignment: Good. Definitely good.
• Personality: Stephen is a prideful man, not as much as he was before, but still prideful. He tends to trust his own judgement rather than the advice of others. He tends to put the needs of the world over the needs of the individual, though that's not to say he can't be kind or generous when he feels like it. He has some difficulty dealing with people normally, and tends to be a bit overdramatic when things get serious.
• Powers and Abilities: As the Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen is an unparalleled master of the mystic arts, capable of manipulating the energy that permeates the world in a variety of ways, from energy bolts to invisibility to astral projection. Powerful though he may be, Stephen is still learning to control his magical abilities, and has difficulty with situations that require more finesse than brute force. Additionally, Stephen requires both of his hands and the ability to speak to make use of his spells, and physically he's no different than any other man and he can be easily defeated in melee combat. He's been doing some martial arts training as of late to make up for this, though.
• Weapons and Equipment: Strange possesses a number of magical artifacts, the two most often used being the Eye of Agamotto, a mystical amulet passed down from Sorcerer Supremes before him that allows him to see through illusions and trickery and can dramatically increase his magical ability in times of great need, and his Cloak of Levitation, which allows him to fly at speed of up to twenty-five miles per hour. He owns a small townhouse in Greenwich Village that he calls the Sanctum Sanctorum, stocked with a variety of magical tools and tomes and heavily shielded from all but the most powerful supernatural intruders.
• Origin: Stephen Strange had always wanted to help people. And as one of the world's most accomplished and talented neurosurgeons, he fulfilled that desire. And he knew he was the best, and he flaunted it. He made a lot of enemies in the medical community, but he was saving countless lives with both his research and his operations and to him that was all that mattered. Until the car accident, anyway. While driving home during a heavy storm, Stephen lost control of his car and careened off of a steep drop into a ditch. It took several hours for help to arrive. While he was mostly uninjured, Stephen had lost the use of his hands in the process. Desperate to operate again, he scoured the world for a way to restore his hands to functionality. He tried doctors, mystics, acupuncture, anything and everything that looked the least bit promising. But nothing worked, and for a time it seemed as though he would spend the rest of his life a cripple.
  • There was one last option, though. He had heard tell of a Tibetan mystic known only as the Ancient One*
    a former student of the wise and powerful Shazam
    who could perform incredible feats of healing, among other seemingly impossible acts. Strange didn't put much stock in that sort of superstition, but it was his last chance. After a lengthy and treacherous mountain climb, the Ancient One took Strange under his wing, teaching him the ways of magic as his hands slowly began to repair themselves. Strange couldn't believe his eyes. The Ancient One showed him things beyond his wildest imagination, angels and devils and things that would tear the mind of a lesser man to shreds. In time, he came to almost surpass his teacher in raw magical power. Before his training could be completed, however, one of the Ancient One's students, Mordo, grew jealous of his master's power and struck him down before Strange's eyes before fleeing. With his dieing breath, The Ancient One bestowed upon Stephen the title of Sorcerer Supreme.
  • Stephen still thinks of himself as a doctor, despite his unusual circumstances. Ass the Sorcerer Supreme, it's his duty to protect the people from whatever supernatural threats might arise. Certainly a bigger job than his old one, but he's got the skills for it. At least, he thinks so.

(Draws breath. Turns to Bindlestick. Puts both hands on his shoulders)

Bindle. Pal. You're a great guy, a wonderful player, and I love ya to bits. But the time comes for every GM to make a tough decision, and mine is to not accept that there application. It's not that you're not a good player, you're great! The sheer amount of detail you've put into the description here demonstrates that you care about the character, and could probably play him well. HOWEVER, you played Peter Parker for all of one scene, at which point, to be perfectly frank, he went the way of Rainbow Dash. I'm really sorry, but I don't think either of us can guarantee that the same thing won't happen to Stephen S.

(Sighs) Again, really sorry for this. I'm gonna go and cross Spider-man off the list now. ...but only if he's not being used...

Lets get some magic up in here.

• Name: Pixie
• Real Name: Megan Gwynn
• Gender: Female
• Age: Teenager
• Appearance: Linky◊
• Alignment: Good
• Personality: Megan is a cheerful and friendly student of the Xavier Institute. Unlike some other students, Megan quite enjoys her powers at times, though the social stigma that comes with them definitely bothers her. She is a bit curious when it comes to magical things, usually wanting to learn what they do and if she could use them. She is pretty excitable at times, finding the newly growing superhero scene to be really cool. She is pretty pumped to be attending the Xavier School and getting to meet a whole bunch of other people with powers like her.
• Powers and Abilities:
  • Wings - Megan has large, brightly colors, insect-like wings protruding from her back. Despite appearances, these wings allow her to fly with great ease and maneuverability.
  • Hallucinogenic Dust - Pixie's wings are able to store spores that can be released from them. The spores produce a powerful visual and auditory hallucination in its victims. People can become affected by inhaling the spores or from skin contact. The hallucinations are usually of pleasant, calming things.
  • Spell Casting - Pixie's mutation also gives her an innate aptitude for magic. She is very good at casting spells, but doesn't know very many at the moment. Right now all she knows is a spell to hide her wings and a spell to teleport herself and others to places she knows about or has been to before.
• Weapons and Equipment:
  • Souldagger - Megan is able to summon a small magical dagger made from a piece of her soul. This dagger has the ability to be very effective against magical entities, but completely unable to harm anyone without magic. It is almost able to destroy any spells cast on people without hurting them.
• Origin: Megan was born and raised in the small mining town of Abergylid, in Wales. Her powers manifested during a close call with her bicycle and a truck. When she discovered her powers, she started to experiment with them to try and figure out what she could do. It was then that she accidentally transported herself with an alternate plane. There she was kidnapped by a cultist who tried to sacrifice her soul to make a sword of some kind. Megan struggled and ended up ruining the ritual, causing her to only lose a piece of her soul and creating the Souldagger. She escaped and eventually came across a witch. The witch promised to teach her a spell to return home in exchange for some house work, which was more than Megan expected. She managed to complete her tasks though and learned the spell to teleport herself back home. It wasn't too long afterwards that her family was approached by the Xavier Institute. They agreed fairly quickly, worried that anti-mutant individuals in the mining town would try to hurt Megan. Now a new student at the school, Megan has to get used to the busy city of New York and all it brings.

Normal human size. She can't change her size, unless she learned a spell to do that later on.

I'm not good with Millennial-Era X-Men, but Pixie is a pretty good choice, I've got to admit.

Personality: Edward Nigma is a narcissist who has little patience for "lesser" people. To feed his monstrous ego (which is approximately the size of a small planet) he constantly tries to prove that he is more intelligent than others. He has an obsession with riddles and other mind games. Although he would never admit it, he is a sadistic sociopath with no regard for human life. Just like all the other freaks and madmen in Gotham.

Powers and Abilities: Genius intellect (although he still overestimates his own intelligence), skilled with deductive reasoning, photographic memory and has a talent with technology (such as constructing death traps or hacking into computers).

Weapons and Equipment: Carries a revolver but rarely uses it as he is arrogant enough to believe such a simple weapon is beneath him. Doesn't stop him from using it though. Also carries a question mark cane which he has been known to beat his victims (or incompetent underlings) with.

Origin: Little is known of his origin. Doctors at Arkham Asylum have reported that Nigma has claimed he grew up with physically and emotionally abusive parents.

Game day-wise we're only starting day three. Don't know how much you might know in character but that's between you, Liz your concsience and the guywho has those pictures of you with a goat. Here goes.

Set in New York, there is a war brewing between mutants and humans which migh have occured anyway but the Joker is busting boith thumbs pushing everyone's buttons to make it happen now. Tony Stark was kidnapped by Bane and Blizzard but freed by the New Mutants, led by Storm. A new mob boss, called the Big Man is being investigated by the Question and Sandman. Jack Ryder is attempting to host a two-part show for the purpose of allowing leaders of the various mutant and anti-mutant groups to air their grievances and differences, which led to the Joker creating the group called the Un-Mutants to attack his studio and try to kill him which led to an all out battle between themon one side and Power Girl, Rocket Racoon and Ryder's alter-ego, the Creeper. It ended in the assassination of Shocker the groups leader by one of Joker's henchmen and Jack revealing his identity to Wesleigh Dodd who is the civilian identity of Sandman. Dr. Langstrom, aka Man-Bat (yeah there are a disproportionate number of Batman villains around) was broken out of prison by Harley Quinn and is now working for the Joker on what he thinks is a cure for the mutant condition but knowing Joker he surely has nastier plans for it. Jaime (aka Blue Beetle) and Rogue are Sickening Sweethearts and Rogue and Pixie have recently been recruited for the Xavier School for the Gifted where Scott Summers is a dick oof massive proportions. Oh, and Sandman, Question and Blue Beetle are trying to start a super group called the Justice Avengers. And Joker and Bane are now allied which can't possibly be good.

I've doubtlessly missed some stuff.
