Well, the current image does the "birthday" part fine but doesn't show the "forgotten" part. We can probably do better.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Bump? I could look for something in Google Images but I know it's preferable to have an example from the media.
Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out.edit: sorry, I cut the wrong panels from the Donald Duck example. I'll try and make another image.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Panel 2 alone?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Nice but rather text-heavy
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe panels I uploaded before were no good because I just realized part of the trope is that the others knew about the birthday all along. Here's a single panel that illustrates that:

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.That's a subversion, though. I think these are usually disfavoured
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman"A major character is sure everybody's forgotten his or her birthday (or perhaps a similar occasion) and wanders around in an angry funk until surprise! They not only remembered it, they threw a Surprise Party!" - seems pretty straight to me even with Donald explicitly telling them it's his birthday, but I might be in the wrong.
Either way, here's the second panel from my earlier upload: [1]◊

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. The most recent, [7.1] and [13.2], "But we had a surprise party planned all along!" single frame.

One or two more votes for that one and we can run with it.
Go for 13.2.
13.2 is good enough
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's up, potholed, and tagged. Do we want a caption?
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going."How these often end"?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWorks for me.
Hearing nothing else, let's lock up and move on.
To the people who've never seen Sixteen Candles, the current image doesn't make any sense. It only looks like two teens on a date. Is there a comic or something regarding this topic? Maybe there could be a picture of a birthday cake that says something along the lines of "Sorry we forgot your birthday". Does anyone have any other suggestions that'll properly demonstrate the trope?
