Apparently, there was a store in France that released the game early. One of the buyers announced the following changes:

• Echoes -> Reverb
• J. Geil -> Centerfold (a song by The J. Geils Band)
• Kiss -> Smack
• Whitesnake -> Pale Snake
• C-Moon -> Full Moon
• Made in Heaven -> Maiden Heaven
• Weather Report -> Weather Forecast
• Narciso Anasui - > Narc Anastasia
• Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap -> D 4 C (although that's not really a change)

Not really trusting it because of the Annasui part (the games shouldn't have DLC yet), but maybe his name was mentioned on Story Mode. It is possible.

I was disturbed by the change on J. Geil, knowing the character, but "Maiden Heaven" actually made me laugh out loud.

This is another one of those times where the supposed changes make me go, "...you're fucking with us now, right? That's gotta be fake."

But then Zipper Man.

OK, we got some new ones:

• King Crimson -> Emperor Crimson
• Oingo & Boingo - > Zenyatta & Mondatta
• Telence T. D'arby and Daniel J. D'arby -> Young Darby and Old Darby
• Boy II Man -> Boy Man Man
• Mandom -> Mando

That is possibly one of the most literal translations I've seen next to Zipperman.

And Emperor Crimson...well, it's no Red Ruler, but it'll do.

Boy Man Man actually has no spaces, but TV Tropes seperates the words and treat it as a link.

You can get rid of that by [=BoyManMan =], remove the spaces, and you get BoyManMan.

I like the name Maiden Heaven. Good way to slip through. Plus Pucci always WAS Dio's maiden in a way

I just saw the achievement/trophy list. One of the trophies is called "TACOS." ... Best name for a trophy ever

Whats wrong with Anasui anyway? Seeing how his name comes from fashion designers Narciso Rodriedguiz and Anna Sui, it just seems odd considering their real names. I'll wait to see how true it is but the name changes seem good, if not better (I like Smack especially... then again, I just like Ermes)

Urgh, the store where I had preordered the game at just texted me that the game was in stock now and that I could come and get my copy...15 minutes before the store closes for the day. Oh well, at least I can be there when they open tomorrow and pick up my copy(I will have very limited time to play it this weekend since it's my step mother's birthday AND we have to go to another city to celebrate her the day after).

Two Nazis in Part 2 shout "TACOS" when Joseph kicks them to the curb. Araki had them do that simply because they were in Mexico.

Game is officially out now in Europe today. If you preordered you get Kira and Fatass at the same time. GO EUROPE.

Also, Campaign Pack 2 is out 15th of May. That'll probably be when Iggy and Fugo show up.

My fellow 'mericans, is there a way to get this game so that we have to pay for as few DLC characters as possible? I doubt it'll get an Updated Re-release or Complete Edition with all of the DLC in it.

I doubt it. I'm just waiting for when Lisa Lisa is playable. (Still surprised her name wasn't changed for the US Release)

The translations are... dodgy.

Extremely dodgy.

I mean, as someone who translates professionally, some of the stuff I'm seeing in ASB makes me go, "Really? That's the best you could do?"

But I still preordered it.

Maybe they hired the guys behind the Duwang translations?

I'll admit the only real issue I had in translation is when the name is said somewhere but clearly written out [Avdol saying "Whose the man" when he clearly said "Magicians Red" something is the biggest example]. I don't really mind otherwise

Worse is that "Whose the man" is an ungrammatical mangling of a well-known phrase.

And I get why they did it, but one thing that strikes me as a little moronic is...

Okay, the subs say, for example, "Golden Wind!" when Giorno pulls out his Stand. But you can still clearly hear him say "Gold Experience!" in the audio. It's like, "No, motherfucker, I have ears, that sub is not correct."

It's like the censorship in Japanese porn. Yeah, there's a reason, but I know there's a dick behind that blur, just own up to it.

To be fair, are you ever really sure you know what's between someone's legs in Japanese porn?

Would you believe that missionaries are to blame for that? Granted its boring half the time... not that I'd know!

I don't mind the audio being unchanged though. Because they're y favorite genre, I get into ighting games and repeat phrases sometimes so I don't have to feel like an idiot saying "Reddo Hott Chili Peppa's!" instead of just "Chili Peppa's!"
