Btw, who are y'all's favorite Jojo's? Currently, I only have Jonathan, Joseph, and very-early Jotaro to go on, but I like them in that very order. Really hoping that the trend of "bigger jerk than the last one" dies with Jotaro.

You could just watch the Anime for part 3 that going to be airing now. Also the Jojo after Jotaro is more around Joseph in terms of niceness.

I found Dio and Caesar a bit difficult to use, but I mainly blame that on the lack of a tutorial. Biggest thing I noticed was that for a projectile guy, Caesar's normals had pitifully short range. So did his HHA, in fact.

Johnathan is the nicest Jojo. Flat out.
Joseph is a bit of a dick.
Jotaro is more of a dick.
Josuke a pretty cool guy, but has a bad temper.

I do not recall Giorno ever having a discernible personality (other than "serene fury" and "wants to be the greatest mafia boss ever").

Why do some people have problems spelling Jonathan's name?

• Jonathan is a nice and kindly gentleman who died to save the one he loved and a baby he barely knew.
• Joseph is funny and tricky. He also cares for his friends anyway and would probably look down upon generic HMPH rivals who make stupid excuses like "I-its not like we're friends! BAKA!"
• Jotaro is a tough guy but also a bit of a social retard where his aloofness is actually fairly deconstructed when he ends up alienating his own daughter because of it
• Josuke is a funny dude. He's also a more subtle trickster
• Giorno is serene and also a hero that wanted to become a mob boss to end the drugs trade and make life good for the people of his homeland.
• Jolyne is a horny bitch ("Balls deep!")
• Johnny has daddy issues.
• Gappy I don't even fucking know. But it is nice how much he looks out for Yasuho

Nicest I can say is that Giorno was like Kakyoin, but without any of his silliness.

But yeah, for a JJBA lead to have so little outward emotion is rather...bizarre.

Might have been the old translation effort being pretty damn bland. Translations work better if you spice them up just a little. I thought Giorno was a bloody hero wanting to become a mob boss to end the drugs trade.

Nah, he's still extremely deadpan in the more recent translations (up to the first parts of the Kraftwerk fight). Not as wooden as the DUWANG ones make him out to be, but still fairly dry. Not that it's a bad thing, he's just not as fun to look at as Mista or Narnacia's antics.

Although I think part of that impression might be how the early chapters gave him much more facial expressions than the later ones did, so he looks more boring than he probably is. Or maybe he just toughened up as more shit started going down and being more like a mob boss should be. Who knows?

I can give him points for ambition and charisma, though, he's pretty much like his dad. He's definitely not aiming low.

I liked Giornio. He didn't stand out as much as, well, any of the others, but he just seemed to be reserved to me.

Gyro Zepelli is probably my favorite character.
Josuke is probably my favorite Jojo.

Im liking Part IV a lot more after I read it a second time.

I love them all equally, except for Giorno. Johnny only only edges out a liiiitle bit.

Gyro's a pretty cool guy, but for Zeppelis, I prefer Cesar.

I actually kinda preferred Willie Z myself.

Bruno is my favorite Zeppelli.

(you know he is one. At least, an honorary one.)

Man, I just can not stop listening to the soundtrack. Especially Baoh's theme. Damn, I love Baoh's theme.
