Coming 2013 (rumor is its going up to end of the series).

Hopefully we'll get to see this scene.

Even though the next arc will be the last, I highly doubt the series will be over in early 2013; late in that year at worst. But the game looks pretty badass. Giant epic boss fights was what Generations lacked.

Hopefully Synchronic Imapcts will make an appearance in the boss fights.

I am sorta annoyed that there's two people in comments suggesting that Sephiroth or Kratos should be in as guests which is just dumb and idiotic.

They aren't even Namco Bandai published.If I were to want a guest fighter, I would want something done by Cyber Connect 2 already, like Haseo, Asura, or Red the Hunter.

Those lifebars look so...bland.

It depresses me that that's the first thing I noticed.

I want the cool quick-time event thingy and gameplay changes in the campaign from 1 back.

Well, there won't be single round/one life bar things right? I hated that so much in the other games, the fights were over too quickly for my taste. But on the hardest difficult, uugh, so a pain though.

One screenshot had a Yellow life bar. It implies the 3 tiered life bars from the first game are back, I think.

Thank god! We also need the original trilogy second game way of doing Jutsu. Multiple chakra levels and jutsu with the later games presentation, better immersed team combat assists, and maybe a way to use awakenings without having your ass beat into the ground.

The developers stated that the gameplay is gonna be much more revamped compared to the previous games.

THANK GOD! I really hated how they changed the Jutsu formula in three. I heard somewhere it was to make it easier for casual gamers. God, I hate when that happens. Why risk pissing off the people you know for a fact would buy it in an effort to possibly gain a new audience?

That Kyuubi fight was boss. I swear, some of these games really know how to make a scene epic.

Than you Should Try Asura's Wrath by the same developers.

That is what epic is when it's not limited to an adaptation of another property by these guys.

Damn, the guy who makes the presentation really is into it.

However, I don't know why they call Tobi "the masked man" all of a sudden… do they intend to make them two separate characters?

Because Tobi claiming himself as Madara is probably inaccaruate now, since this game is supposed to go all the way towards the manga's ending from the beginning of the series, since kishimoto announced the series was heading towards it's climax.

By Tobi, I mean "the guy with the mask who dematerializes", Madara or not. There is no reason to make two distinct characters out of him, unless this is a foreshadowing that the current Tobi and the one who attacked the village with Kyūbi aren't the same person. But that wouldn't make sense.

Maybe "the masked man" is just the new name of Tobi in the game, though…

That's why this game was announced much earlier than one would think it would be.

Well Minato doesn't know who he is. In terms of the story no one knows who this guy is except "The Masked Man" so i guess it works in that sense. it also lets them put another character on the select screen and lets players clarify which Tobi they're playing as.

If Kinkaku and Ginkaku are in I seriously wonder how they will wake them work… ditto for Madara… that will be a challenge for them.
