Anyone at all?
Don't have time, sorry.
Nobody cares, but I finally found my playset of Gitaxian Probes. Yay!
It was next to my Preordain playset and a lone Ponder. I guess I wanted to put all the 1CMC Blue broken spells together or something.
They call it the Rumour Mill because every time one specific guy posts I definitely feel cards going from my library to my graveyardWas your Ancestral Recall playset with them?

Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!I wish.
They call it the Rumour Mill because every time one specific guy posts I definitely feel cards going from my library to my graveyardI probably won't be looking at Cockatrice again until the next/latest update hits following the full release of [NEXT SET NAME SPOILER TAGGED]'s card list.
Would anyone be up for a game today?
Does anyone know where I can download an update for the Cockatrice card database? Mine is apparently missing a few M15 cards, as well as the entire Conspiracy set.
Just get the latest update from Woogerworks and run the usual Oracle shenanigans. It worked for me; I'm looking at Marchesa right now.
Figured it out. Apparently there was an update at some point that I missed, so I had to redownload Cockatrice. After that, I just ran Oracle and it seems to work.
So hypothetically, on a scale of 1 to hitler and stalins secret lovechild, how evil would I have to be to make a cascade/Storm EDH deck with minds desire in it?
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Depends on how easily you can get a Storm count running in an EDH deck. I know most Storm decks run multiple copies of their fast mana and things like Past in Flames, so I'm not terribly sure how viable a singleton deck could be.
tfw the card you want is super expensive
Anyone up for a few rounds? I'm going to keep asking until I actually get a game in.
Don't you just hate it when you come up with a deck idea, brainstorm together a deck, then find out that not only do you not have most of the pieces for it, but the pieces you put in would be really expensive?
That just happened to me. I found this guy while looking for commanders in colors I haven't touched yet and thought he'd be a neat, not too expensive deck to build. I throw something together on Cockatrice, and when I analyze it, the final price ends up being $300. I went through it and cut about a dozen of the most expensive cards (that I didn't already have, anyway), and suddenly the cost to get everything I need is only about $100. Card prices are insane, sometimes.
My sister's boyfriend threw together this deck for me. Any good?
We actually have a deckbuilding thread where you'll probably get more detailed advice; while the same people turn up in both, the discussion is less likely to be derailed by complaints about MTGS, terrible puns, Blogatog references, requests for games <cough> or "I'm sure going to miss [X] when it rotates".
I'm going to miss Pack Rat when it rotates. I feel like playing with that card makes me the biggest douchebag this side of UW control, but it's just too much fun.
So Doug mentioned a job opening on his Tumblr today. While I'm totally unqualified for the position he listed, I decided to look at the other jobs available and noticed one I do think I might be qualified for that would probably be the kind of job I'd want anyway - "Creative Designer". Designing cards might be fun and all, but let me tell you, world building? That's the part that really interests me.
And I then I decided "Eh, sure, why not." So I'm totally going to go fix up my resume and go put in an application for it.
Good luck!
The only caveat that really has me worried is the bit about "Only local candidates need apply. There is no relocation assistance for this position.", but I'm hoping that if I'm a viable enough candidate and I fully recognize that they're not going to help me move, it'll be enough to make up for the fact that I live half-way across the country.
Besides, I have a lot of relatives that live in Washington, so there's that...
EDIT: Whelp, it's sent. I'm not going to get my hopes up on anything happening, but at least I can say I took a shot at it. [Fistpump]

Good luck man, let us know how it goes!
Good luck with that.
EDIT: I'm now thinking that if you get the job, you might not be legally allowed to read these threads anymore. Oh.

Doubleposting, but speaking of Cockatrice, would anyone like a few rounds?
