Finally got around to watching this movie. I was spoiled going in, but still rather liked it. Definitely one I'll watch again.
People are mirrors. If you smile, a smile will be reflected.Just saw it too. I wasn't spoiled, but it was rather predictable overall - Callahan being the villain, Baymax saving his chip, Abigail being alive. After the marvellous experimentations on Wreck-it Ralph and the overall gorgeousness of Frozen, the aesthetics in this movie did not really impress, especially the flight scenes who absolutely can't rival How To Train Your Dragon.
Now, I still tremendously enjoyed it, since it was a)very well paced, with just the action needed for great entertainment without falling in "my eyes hurt" territory b)extremely funny c)full of great characters d)with a great soundtrack and song e)without useless romance.
A confirmation that Disney is once again in his greatest years, like they were from The Little Mermaid onwards. I'm sure than in 20 years or so, this era will be recognized as such. I'll still rank Tangled as my favorite of this era, but no matter the ranking, every movie would have great grades.
I suppose John Lasseter really is a genius.

I thought the main difference was that the British English version added a bunch of u's to the script.

Something something bloody colonials something God save the Queen. I did notice the technicians were English but I didn't know of Dan and Phil until now. I'm sure it was more exciting for people who did know who they were.
It was. Tumblr more or less exploded when they found out.
Ok, I have to ask, what is with this fandom and its/our innate desire to cause each other so much pain? from fics to fan art, everything's freaking SAD.
(not that I'm one to talk, given my fic, but still)
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writers.... can they at least show WHERE in the movie they had a cameo?
I found the fic where Tadashi becomes a Guardian. Now no one can convince me that didn't happen.
Because the movie is about dealing with grief?

Forever liveblogging the AvengersYou never know, maybe he got beamed up into an invisible spaceship before everything went explodey.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I mean, he's not an owl after all.
Forever liveblogging the Avengers@kyun On the observation deck, on the security tape at that abandoned facility. "Sir, we have an irregularity in the magnetic containment field", or something to that effect. I'm guessing you heard the American version which didn't feature them.
I'd say we do, but a cameo like that is hard to pinpoint if you don't have a guide for where to look for it.
I'm not sure what you mean. I was trying to explain where it was.
we do have that scene/ line, but it's not the same Voice Actors.

so after three weeks of trying, I finally got my roommate to actually cry over something I noticed in Big Hero 6.
Aunt Cass's "Last Hug" quirk-thing only shows up AFTER the fire.

I blame the fact that my roommate and I have seen this movie three times since monday at midnight for my sudden burst of "oh god tragic realizations. I have many more and all of them are going into the fanfiction. I am so going to hell for this. :D

Gruuh, I stayed up until like 2AM reading all 11 chapters of Ellowen's fic.
Took me forever to realize the title was actually from the training montage music in the movie. No idea yet if that's relevant somehow?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...It's sort of relevant? the line I took it from being "the only pay-off for having any faith is when it's tested again and again every day" so, like, sometimes it doesn't seem like there's a point to having faith, it keeps being tested and worn down and tested, but...have faith anyway.
All the chapter titles are song titles (with the exception of chapter 4, which is a lyric from a song instead)...specifically, they are titles of songs where both the tune and message tend to match the chapter...or, at least, I hope they do.
(also do you like it I hope you like it I'll shut up about it now I feel spammy but I'm just really excited by it and ok shutting up)
And I really should make a list. maybe I'll do that during my night shift at the library tomorrow night.

My favorite bit so far is probably the one where Gogo trashes the radio. Something about bottled up emotions and catharsis and stuff.
Also wondering how crazy things are going to get if (or when?) they all ever find out that Tadashi's still alive.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...(they are. I'm a happy endings person. but let's just say, Earn Your Happy Ending is putting it lightly. and things are going to be pretty wild. hehehehe.....)

pretty sure the only difference was they got Dan and Phil the youtubers to voice two technicians in the UK version.
