You sorely underestimate fangirls.

Costume/character designs look pretty bland for the most part. But I understand that CGI Disney films usually take a simplistic approach to art style and wow us instead with animation/movement. So it'll probably grow on me.

Looks like Disney Japan in emphasizing the human drama in Big Hero 6. Well, they did mention that they're going for a marketing strategy similar to the one they used on Frozen for this one.

Not very much, I'd say.

...wait Pete from 30 Rock is Baymax? That's an interesting casting choice, I mean I didn't recognise him in the quick clip.

Other than that, it's a pretty good cast.

Of course Alan Tudyk is there. Not that I'm complaining, I love him in anything he does.

His character name sounds mad villainous, but I'd like if he wasn't for once.

Half-Japanese, eh? I imagine Tumblr is going to love that.

I'm not sure if that was a misreading.

But then again, his voice actor is the same, so.

Its not like the source material was great. If fact, it seems like it was used mostly because the director liked the concept of a boy and his robot.

Which is fine by me.

Yeah, the original material was... problematic, from what I've seen.

lol Hiro's actor is once again playing someone who is a friend of a guy named Fred!

Fred is either going to be really hilarious, or really annoying.

... oh my God, Gogo look ADORABLE kneeling down like that.

Gogo's facial structure is very different as well I noticed. The 2D art and 3D art match up really well now.

Quite a few relative unknowns here. That's refreshing. And I guess it's also why they withheld the casting for so long.
