Alright, I just heard from Lucky, apparently he had some kind of problem.

It might be feasible to get some of the people here back together.

People lose interest and you can't expect them to go along with everythin' the GM does.

No, YOU'VE lost interest. Stop assuming that everyone else has. And stop trying to MAKE everyone else leave. If they want to leave, they can speak for themselves. Otherwise you putting words in everyone's mouths is really getting annoying.

You know, you've been making it pretty clear that you don't want to be a part of this RP for a while now, so I have a question: Why are you still here?

If you think that it should die, then simply say so and leave. Oh wait, you Have said so, and yet you're still harping on about it? Seriously. If you don't want to be a part of this, then stop posting and trying to say what you want others to say for them. If they have any wish to leave, there are some who have voiced such, but then there are the rest of us who are actually trying to keep on with this and ensure it survives, and I can assure you, I do Not appreciate someone trying to say that I want this RP to die.

I will admit, I don't talk much, nor post much, but that is due to issues involving work, barely having access to a computer and the simple fact that there has not been much that needed a response from me.

It may not have been your intention to seem to be trying to speak for everyone about killing off the RP, but I can say that it is very much seeming that way. Lucky, on the point of you killing it, I disagree. You may have taken a while to speak or post something, but it does seem to me that it is Phil who has actively been working at that.

I like how you all assume I know what everyone else thinks.

I've been in quite a lot of R Ps and almost all of them have died from loss of interest. I'm not putting words in peoples mouths, I'm hypothesising. Some of them might have just forgotten, or life might have gotten in the way.

The point I'm trying too make is that this is a zombie thread. If you manage to revive it then I'm on board, but it might be easier to garner interest if you start fresh. Now, I'm aware that someone tried to reboot it a while back but there just isn't a "market" for Yugioh RPs right now. Within the last three months, three Yugioh RPs have been proposed and subsequently dropped due to low interest. I think I should've made it clearer that I was speaking in more general terms in my initial statement.

tl;dr This is normal.

My point about players not being interested in what the GM's direction also still stands. I also do not appreciate being picked on. >:|

We have not been picking on you, Draco and I called you out on rudeness. There is a difference.

Now, I will concede the point that you probably didn't intend to be rude, but regardless of whether or not you intended to sound like you were putting words in other peoples mouths, that is how it came across. And trying to play yourself off as the poor innocent victim who is being so unfairly punished by the mean old GM just annoys me further. Simply accept your mistake, apologies, and we can move on.

Also, in regards to your first sentence. I have NOT assumed that you know what's going on with the other players. By all appearances, YOU have been making that assumption.

I'm just going to point out that I said it seemed that this is what you were doing, not that you were actually intending to seem that way. Again, the word 'seem' implies that this is what came across, but not necessarily what was intended, which is something I always look at. We weren't making that assumption about what you putting words in others' mouths exactly, so much as this is what came across.

Are you absolutely certain on the assumption of the ascertainment of the nature of the argument that heretofore promulgates itself in certain individuals, which is itself arguable in the absolute nature of the innate features therein?

No, its not supposed to mean anything.

I believe we should do what we feel is best, and not try to convert anyone to a point of view they've already voiced opposition to.

Man, I really want to do more with this RP. I understand the RP itself is over, but is there anything further we can do with it?

Man, Peter comes across as a lot more assholish than I intended him to be. He was supposed to just be a big fraud who's trying too hard to act like a stoic badass who doesn't care what other people think.

I think part of it is that he's kind of dishonest, even in his internal monologues- the intention was always that he'd care about and like other people a lot more than he's willing to admit, even to himself. So when he seems nicer at the end, it wasn't so much because he'd changed, but because he was too psychologically exhausted to keep him his normal facades. Which probably a better place to be in, I suppose.

I've learned a lot from this RP, most of it related to the roles my characters play, and criticism and such.

I would be open to creating another RP, but I don't think that would be very much wanted.

@Gilphon: That being said, I did like the fact that he was able to back up his arrogance. Most of the times when you see a poser like Peter, they end up being shown up as a fraud very quickly. But the fact that he was a genuine Bad Ass was a refreshing twist.

So, something Luna said in a PM got me wondering.

Did anybody here notice that basically played Roxas as if he were an actor in a move who was always milking his scenes? Cause, well, most of the time he spoke he was basically just trying to be as hammy as possible. That's not too say he didn't mean what he was saying or that he was lying or anything like that, but he was deliberately overplaying almost everything he did because he found it more fun.

Like, at no point does he just say something like "I'm going to make a comeback" or anything like that, he makes full on dramatic speeches for almost everything he does.

Did, did nobody realize that?

That was actually the FIRST thing I noticed about him.
