I am almost inclined to use the page image on Streisand Effect to explain "not actually JAFAAC"
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think "Not actually JAFAAC" is best illustrated by a picture of a face. Adding "something other than a face and a caption can be Just A Face And A Caption, but this one isn't" at the same time is too complicated.
Also I think that image is kind of JAFAAC :) That is not a good precedent.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I was thinking of adding the most subtle example possible here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm more inclined to go with the Simba picture, because it clearly illustrates the point that sometimes a Face and a caption is not Just A Face And A Caption.

"Most subtle possible" is not a good idea I don't think.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Eh, I'd be fine with switching it out for the Simba pic.
In the mean time, could you change the hottip in the caption for that picture to a labelnote?
It's starting to look like the Simba pic will be swapped in, and the caption that goes with it won't have a note at all, so I think we can hold off on that change.
Fine. Just kinda... , that's all.
One or two more votes for the Simba pic and we can run with it, hopefully past the wildebeests.
And send this thread into an Elephant Graveyard?
Something like that.
The Simba pic is good.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I'd been meaning to vote for the Simba pic for a while now.
Here's my vote.
Since I voted, I saved Mufasa, right?
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"Nope, he's still smushed.
Heh...that actually reminds me of a joke I came up with:
"MUFASA! MUFASA!"
"I can't mufasa, I'm going full speed already! AAAAAAAH!" *crunch*
If the text in the list doesn't need any tweaks to go with the new pic, then I'd say we're good to lock up. Thoughts?

It does need a tweak. There are two bullet points that have the same issue: they describe a different problem:
- If it has a caption, the caption pulls all of the weight of demonstrating the trope.
- A Speech Balloon or other form of text-in-the-image won't save you hereāif there's nothing in the visuals, it's JAFAAC.
...should be...
- The image doesn't have to show a face, and doesn't have to have a caption. If understanding it requires familiarity or explanation from someone who is familiar with the work, it's JAFAAC.
- A caption may be inside the image or even disguised as something else, like a Speech Balloon.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Sounds reasonable; any objections to that?
I'm fine with this change.
Definitely an improvement.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Done; locking up.
The preceding comments have indicated that. What about, specifically?
