It all depends on the preparation, honestly, and I've eaten my fair share of both. But I've had better experiences with rice overall.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.@ Phyi: What? But noodles become so dry when you reheat them, unlike rice which can be reheated twice after initially cooking it, frozen for ages, and then made into gaya pinto (sp?) whilst still being good.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Personally I prefer noodles(stuff like Beef noodles, Ramen, Udon). It's just a nice texture that's very easy to eat.
I admire the versatility of rice though; it really goes with anything. And Jasmine Rice is great.
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsDefinitely noodles.
Noodles all the way, though rice is really good.
If you want any of my avatars, just Pm me I'd truly appreciate any avatar of a reptile sleeping in a Nice Hat Read Elmer Kelton booksFlip a coin. I eat large amounts of both on a regular basis.
Memento MoriNoodles/Pasta and rice...noodles/pasta and rice. I'd have to say corn/flour tortillas are better. Tied in tastiness is potatoes and then followed by pasta.
Rice is nice but it has no inherent flavor on its own. Steamed white rice is great filler but you always have to balance it out with something extremely flavorful.
Which is even more ironic or something about my post right now. I made rice for dinner.
Tom: Stuff like pilau◊ has flavour. :3
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅThat's because it's prepared with a lot of things else alongside it! (I know how to make similar recipes.) Rice, be it brown, white, long-grain, or otherwise doesn't have much flavor on its own. 99% of the time without additives rice is actually fairly bland.
Oh. :o Well yeah. :p Aren't noodles the same? :o
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅFlour base noodles yes. Egg noodles...sometimes.
Ohh. :o Well I've never had egg noodles, for obvious reasons (Is lethally allergic), so... :p
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅI like rice.
Also, people objecting to pasta being described as noodles strikes me as... blatantly racist? Like, not even even subtly racist? If you think the term "noodle" is demeaning to foods, then why is it okay to call any food that? It's pretty obvious that Asian noodle dishes have their own names too. Soba, ramen, etc.

I have trouble finding how it's racist. I just always saw noodles as a specific kind of pasta, while pastas is a generic term to designate all of them.
The Great Northern Threadkill.I love noodles, but my favourite is spaghetti bolagnese, but rice itself tastes quite bland unless it's fried rice. (Been eating rice for YEARS)
In an anime, I'll be the Tsundere Dark Magical Girl who likes purple MY own profile is actually HERE!I think technically "noodle" is the broad term covering all forms of "grain molded into boilable edible shapes" and pasta refers to a specfic Italian variation, but the idea that "noodle" refers to the "noodly" ones is certainly reasonable.
However, the idea that I found racist was that it's insulting or wrong to refer to any pasta as a noodle. And that somehow it's not to refer to other noodle dishes as such. Which seems to be incredibly Eurocentric and dismissive of the huge amount of noodle dishes worldwide.

Rice all the way!
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them. Both are awesome! Excellent bases source for all sorts of concoctions. Carbohydrates for the win!
Rice. Mashed potatoes being a close second, although people often make it too sloppy for my taste.
Rice, but both are infinitely better with soy sauce.
The artist formerly known as spasticgeckoSoy sauce is for chumps. It's all about fish sauce, bitches.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahI like soy sauce. :<
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅCHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMP (it makes a nice seasoning at times but only in sparse amounts)

Noodles I suppose, but really both are good,...compared to grits
