I rather like the current image. It shows a princess — you can tell by the crown — looking defiant when an older man — probably a king — is ordering her to do something, and it doesn't involve text. The caption isn't pulling all or most of the weight.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

She does look sassy and is wearing a crown. I don't know anything about Flash Gordon but got the gist.
He's also sitting on a chair that's higher than the floor she's standing on, which normally indicates that it's a throne.
It's a good picture.

As much as the current caption works, I so want it to be Ming telling her to put a shirt on.
I don't think anything looks kinglyer than sitting on a throne.

I think the current one works but if there was one of a princess throwing off her crown, I think that would be best.

Honestly, I'm not so set on a new caption that we have to change it, I just thought it'd be funny. I'll go ahead and close this up and tag the page.
The image for Rebellious Princess, though not bad, isn't great either. For starters, I'm having a hard time telling if the princess is disobeying her father (or a princess for that matter). I know that is from a comic book, but if anyone has a strip from Flash Gordon that shows an elaboration on said princess, that would bring justice to the trope.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested, I just wanted to bring this problem up.
I can't think of anything good for a signature.
