Pokemon Conquest: Fate of the Throne (Discussion)

I read it. I still think it makes more sense.

I have an idea: Introduce actual human villains! Something that, despite each of the Knight Leader's differences, would band together to defeat as these guys are considered the greater evil.

Some suggestions:

• A pair of bumbling thieves that are more like minor annoyances of a Goldfish Poop Gang.
• A serial killer
• An uppity noble who gained some sort of great power, whether magical or technological, whom tries to take over the kingdom
• A Satanic cult who acts like Cypher from the games and uses their Hell magic to close the Heatrs of Pokemon they capture in man eating fiends which can only be freed using powerful Holy magic and/or love an companionship
• A Satanic cult who wishes to flatout cause the extinction of all Pokemon and the slaughter of any humans who try to stop them
• An organized crime syndicate
• A particularly brutal gang of bandits
• Any combination of the above minus the very first

The only thing any of the villain will have in common is the mutual hatred of Pokemon to some degrees, ranging from merely seeing them as tools, outright abuse, to murder on sight.

...Take another look through the sign-ups. Then tell me that we need to bring in something that we already have.

Like Moerin said, we already have a human villain. And I'm not saying who it is because it's pretty damn obvious. Though a Satanic cult makes me laugh... Hm... maybe a satanic cult of Pokemon.

But joking aside, there's already a villain. In fact, multiple villains. Again, read the plot, and it's pretty easy to understand just who I'm talking about.

There maybe a group of human villains, but they'll act more like Paul than Cypher.

Well, I've been a tad distracted as of late with (ironically) my copy of Pokemon Conquest. Finally at Dragnor in the main quest, woo! As for everyone else, save for Stratofarius (who isn't even in this particular RP), I haven't a clue as to why more free time isn't being spent on the computer. Sunshine and sports can explain it during the day, but not at 10:43 PM...

I'm waiting on Krautman, Anno, Rain and I think Moe has a character in that scene too.

I blame my eternal archnemesis.

Hurm... And I was looking forward to writing Morrigan. >.<

I... Haven't actually introduced Morrigan yet. Or Erzy. Gaaah.

Ud... I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think you'll understand unless someone just comes out and tells you.

The reason Anno and the others haven't been posting? It's you. It's your insistence on breaking the setting for the sake of unfunny jokes and not stopping no matter how many times you are told to do so that has killed the interest of Anno and Rain, and it's wearing away at the interest of Tachi, Moerin, and myself. So... just please, please shape up.

.........yeah, I promise not to do any more shenanigans unless I ask first.

OK, I think I've hit the point of no return. If no-one minds I'd like to back out quietly now.

Well, if inspiration just refuses to come to you no matter what you try, I can understand your decision. Still, I'm sure that you will be missed...

I'm thinking of releasing my reservation on Red Knight too. It seems I can't write the damn signup for the life of me :(

Just wanted to say that I finally got around to beating the initial story of the DS game that inspired this RP. The finale was kinda silly; for example, Yukimura saved Kenshin by critical hitting No at the right moment, and Ranmaru ended up outliving both Nobunaga and the main character (defeating the latter himself) only to be done in by Oichi. And now, after an adventure that took about 20 hours (since I love micromanaging), it's on to the bonus stories for me!

So, anyone else have interesting stories they'd like to share?
