So is Bozebeats really.

Yeah, but we already knew that, sadly. Hopefully it can end its current arc on a somewhat conclusive note. Though the reveal that the dragon is Madoka can add a new motivation for Tamaki…

Bozebeats is getting axed.

So, issue 20… I'm just copy-pasting it from Jump's website for now, but I'll probably update it once the raw is available. Cause there's some weird stuff in this week's TOC.

Front color: Dr. Stone
Center color: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Donkyuu (one-shot about… animals doing ping-pong?), Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san (again!)

1. Black Clover
2. One Piece
3. Tomatoypoo no Lycopene (???)
4. Boku no Hero Academia
−. Jujutsu Kaisen (chapter 7)
5. Shokugeki no Souma
6. Yakusoku no Neverland
7. Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
8. Haikyuu!!
9. Gintama
10. Robot × Laserbeam
11. BOZEBEATS
12. Hinomaru Zumou
−. Noah's Notes (chapter 6)

So Bozebeats climes out of the bottom two. Interesting.

Hey MHA finally made it back to the top half.

Also BC is #1........ well the last few chapters have been pretty good cause they've been focusing solely on a cool supporting character (with barely any annoying MC) .

Huh looks like Act-Age might be next on the chopping block.

Isn't Lycopene the gag comic that's at the end of every issue? Why is it suddenly at #3?

Dunno, I'll need to read the raws to understand what's up with that.

So yeah, update. The TOC on the website was full of shit.

Front Color: Dr. Stone
Center Color: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Donkyuu, Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san

1. One Piece
2. Yakusoku no Neverland
3. Bokutache wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
4. Haikyuu!!
5. Black Clover
−. Jujutsu Kaisen
6. Gintama
7. Boku no Hero Academia
−. Ziga
−. Noah's Notes
8. Hinomaru Zumou
9. Shokugeki no Souma
10. Robot × Laserbeam
11. Act-age
12. Bozeb|——eats

Besides the fact that it clearly didn't deserve its fate, BB's axe is all the more frustrating that it seems like it could have reached a somewhat proper conclusion with just a couple more chapters. Instead it ends on a cliffhanger just before the climax. I know business is business, but Jump's executives are really stupid sometimes. How is doing that good for the magazine, exactly?

Issue 21-22:

Front color: One Piece
Center Color: Yakusoku no Neverland, Build King (oneshot by the author of Toriko), Black Clover

1. Haikyuu
2. Dr. Stone
3. Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
4. Boku no Hero Academia
5. Kimetsu no Yaiba
6. Shokugeki no Souma
7. Jujutsu Kaisen (first ranking… I think?)
−. Noah's Notes (chapter 7)
−. Ziga (chapter 6)
8. Gintama
9. Hinomaru Zumou
10. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san
11. Act-age
12. Robot × Laserbeam

The Gentle & La Brava arc is slowly taking effect for MHA it seems. Act-age has survived its 14th chapter, which is more than poor Bozebeats can say. >.> I really have to catch up on Noah's Notes…

Also quite ironic that 3 series that are getting an anime soon (Gintama, Hinomaru and YSYS) are near the bottom… By the way, does anyone know how much We Never Learn and Yuuna sell? It'd be interesting to see which sells more between "wholesome cute romcom" and "unapologetic T&A fanservice"…

Finally, The cover is rather fun to look at. tongue From what I get:
Act-age -> R×L
R×L -> Lycopene
TPN -> KNY
Dr Stone -> BC
MHA -> Haikyuu
One Piece -> MHA
BC -> One Piece
KNY -> Yuuna
SNS -> Dr Stone
Hinomaru -> SNS
There are some I don't have though. =[

Jujutsu is oddly high.

Kimetsu is also oddly low but the art has tanked a bit the last handful of chapters so I'm guessing that's why.

Issue 23:

Front color: Hinomaru Zumou
Center color: Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai, Rika no Jikan (oneshot), Boruto

1. Yakusoku no Neverland
2. One Piece
3. Dr. Stone
4. Black Clover
5. Kimetsu no Yaiba
6. Haikyuu!! (chapter 300!)
−. Ziga (chapter 7)
7. Noah's Notes (first ranking)
8. Gintama
9. Boku no Hero Academia
10. Jujutsu Kaisen
11. Act-age
12. Robot × Laserbeam
13. Shokugeki no Souma
14. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san

…Well I'll be. Lots of surprises in the bottom. Ziga's getting pretty damn good and yep, the early theory that Kou was Ziga is true it seems… And Noah's Notes has a rather decent ranking.

Those MHA & BC rankings are extremely frustrating.

Yeah, I thought MHA was finally on its way up again, but nope.

On another note, the "size chart" at the start of the volume tells us that Ogata Rizu is shorter than a 12 year old girl. That's gotta hurt. tongue

I swear the BC ranking better not be for the last two chapters because they have been utter crap.

Just our two dumbass leads repeating the same dumbass shit they've always been doing. Completely flat & uninteresting chapters really.

Doubt it. I don't think the effects of the TOC are that instantaneous.

I forget exactly what is, but the rankings are something like 5-6 chapters behind what we'd consider the current chapters.

Now the situation is a bit weird… None of the new series are apparently doing badly enough to be axed, but series like YSYS, R×L and SNS sell too well to end abruptly.
