That seems like a good example of Troperrific but a mediocre example of Title: The Adaptation. What about [1]◊ or [2]◊? (Both Work: The Movie: The Game.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I'm partial to IWBTG. Let me crop and wiki-size it, and see what we get.
An advantage of the other is that it's really an adaptation of an adaptation. IWBTG is just called that.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I also feel that in that case, the image quality is less (inherent, not due to artifacts), and it doesn't really convey that this is the game and not the movie.
However, I'll wiki-size it anyway.

No I mean it is really a game based on a movie based on a game. If a reader thinks it's only a movie based on a game, okay. (The "press start" and "2 credits" make it more likely they'd think it's a game based on a movie, but that's okay too.)
Also the image quality is fine, that is its resolution. Different title screen (Sega Saturn?): [1]

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I love the IWBTG pic, just a little more than I love the SF pic.
Same here, but vice versa.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!Yeah, that'd be the Saturn version of the home console release. I'm going to assume the "2 credits" shot was the arcade release (well, linking the wiki page for the arcade version makes it fairly explicit but still). Two completely separate games based on the same idea of turning a movie based on a game into a game itself. And the home console version isn't half-bad, apparently - it's just nowhere near as good as its source material's source material, and thus is a curiosity at best.
It kind of annoys me that they didn't actually include ": The Game" in the title (everyone just calls it that), because that'd sell it all that much more.
Moon◊I prefer the arcade version of Street Fighter The Movie. It does a very good job of illustrating the trope, and while IWBTG also does that, I prefer a real example over a parody.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Less clear than either previous suggestion.

Bump for votes.
Re-bump, this is pretty much a tie right now.
Aaaaaaand we're done. This one really doesn't need a caption; add one if you want. Locking up.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
As much as that picture from Cracked is awesome, it's also the page image for Troperrific.
Frankly, I think we should seek permission to bend the no duplicate image rule here, but if not, what sorts of pictures might we come up with here?
For reference:
