The creative music tropes.: i3
if you ever notice, most, if not all music tropes have to do with either lyrics, singers, steriotypes, or musics role in movies.
How about tropes that is about the creative process of music?
Such as, that thing where a melody repeats itself and the bass changes key under it every measure
Or one of those lenegary 5 note slow blues solos?
Or abstract rhodes piano, maybe dramatic power organ?
Linear Drumbeats? Jungle Beat? Oriental Bamboo xylophone? :P
Any ideas for creative music tropes?
These tropes are relevant in the idea that these specific sounds are able to call up emotions, and that understanding what feelings they invoke can help you understand music, as well as know what feels appropriate to any given movie scene.
