Brown Paperbag is a gag-per-day webcomic by a Mumbaikar artist Sailesh Gopalan that began in June 2016. These comics portray daily life of Indian society in cartoon form.

Brown Paperbag provides examples of:
- Art Evolution: As discussed here, the evolving artstyle of this webcomic was an active process. The earliest comics were made without any rough sketches, and thus were flatly colored and used small black dots for pupils. Later artstyles implement more consistent shapes, larger pupils with white circles in them, as well as more shading and lighting.
- Straw Hypocrite: A pair of unnamed guys (nicknamed "Hypocrisy Bros"), which are usually shown complaining about bad behaviors that they themselves do.
- World of Pun: Almost every single comic has a punny title. For example, "Maidriarchy".note
