Yes presumably a space ship took them there...

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Has anyone contacted Prasa to see if we can use that pic?
"Any soldier on an alien planet is not a space marine"
Any human soldier on an alien planet is a space marine, assuming humans hail from Earth in that particular universe. The Terrans are visibly human, therefore them being space marines is not too big of a leap. I'm also not buying the "mildly fantastic" thing about 5.3 (Terrans with zerg) - while sci-fi/fantasy don't exclude each other, the mere presence of the marines (with their power armor and huge weps) implies a sci-fi setting, and most people will probably think "alien" in this case.
Plus, I agree with Rodney that a group of marines instead of a single person says "military" much better.
Btw, someone said we don't need permission for 5.3. Do we already have it? I don't see any posts confirming that we do. It's from devArt, just like the Prasa image: [1].

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Why does it feel like in many Image Pickin' threads, people seem to deliberately misinterpret the images just because you can't tell the entire trope and nothing but the trope from the image alone, and any text, including caption and the title of the page, is cheating?
You see you're on a page called Space Marine, and you see any most of the pics in the crowner, your reaction is most likely going to be, "Oh, yeah," and not, "they're probably fighting on Earth against monsters from the Underworld". Some are weaker than others, sure, and some may be somewhat misleading, but come on.
Check out my fanfiction! Here's the current leader at wiki size...not really crazy about it.
And the others:

Man, the marines fighting the zerg looks terrible at wiki size, but I'm not really crazy about most of the other options either. Meh.
I sent a permission request for the "fighting the zerg" image, no response yet. Here is a slightly brighter version of the Star Craft logo pic, which I think is second to that:
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Nice one.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNeutral on that one; I think it's better to have them fighting something.
I'm thinking we need to have a runoff between the two leaders.
Runoff crowner's set up.
May want to note that in the thread title.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Done, thanks for the prod.
I like the one with the flag, I just wish it didn't say Starcraft behind it. I wish though that we could have used something from Aliens.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Alright, this one's ready to call. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no?
Haven't seen any really good suggestions for the image's caption, and it works well enough on its own. So no.
"Silent Hill always gives the best presents." -agentjr "Death feels like acoustic guitar." -helloweenPermission granted on the "fighting the zerg" image, though that appears to be moot.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. With no suggestions, let's lock up and move on.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Your assumption is clearly based of the name at any rate. Since the description is how space marines operates out of spaceships. They can fight humans or aliens. But they need to operate out of ships, like real marines. Any soldier on an alien planet is not a space marine.
