And it makes sense, too, because Spider-Gwen has a interdimensional transporter and does regularly hang out in the 616.
It's really only a matter of time before she's a local anyway. There's probably going to come a time when audiences get tired of her world but still want her so she becomes one of the bajillion temporal refugees in the 616.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Currently reading some Priest Black Panther. I absolutely love that T'challa's response to Erik Killmonger's plan to crash the Wakandan economy is...to crash the entire world's economy, just so that they can forego the buildup and skip to the part where they fight to the death.
So apparently Jim Steranko once slapped Bob Kane for ripping off Bill Finger?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? That makes Steranko an excellent human in my book.
The whole Spider Gwen meets Wolverine thing it's just one issue not a huge event. Besides the real Gwen is not doing much besides staying dead... or getting cloned.
Mileena MadnessYa know I regret not catching up to the recent Spider-Gwen but when it started that crossover event with Silk & Spider-Woman I just kinda got frustrated keeping track between 3 series making me slack off on reading it. I still made the effort to collect the issues but I'm not sure if I have them all & I never read em these past months.
It also doesn't help that I've lost the issue in my collection when I finally started reorganizing my shit. I now gotta look for like 6 issues or however long the event was in 5 or so boxes containing over 200 comic books.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think I figured out what MU stands for and why they used that acronym: Mutant University! After the devastating Inhuman/Mutant War, when the terror of the Terrigen Mists was finally lifted, mutants finally could come out of hiding and stand tall in the world. And with more mutants now appearing, Storm realizes that they need a place for them to all learn...except the Jean Grey School is still in Limbo and it'll take time for them to move it back. So Storm creates a private academy, Mutant University!
...no? C'mon, it sounds like fun!
I thought it was Mutants United, the Jean Grey School's soccer team
That could also work.
I miss it when the X-Men played baseball.
No time for baseball with the X-Men, any more, they're too busy being miserable forever.
There are so many awesome X-Men things I would love to see brought back. Human supporting characters. Softball games. C'jime, the giant flying wolf from another world. The X-Men franchise used to have fun. Storm is friends with a giant flying wolf from another world. How is that not every fucking comic ever?
Also, some characters that desperately need to be used again on a regular basis: Wiz-Kid, a disabled Japanese-American who can invent things. Thumbelina, a big-bodied woman from the Mutant Liberation Front, whose weight was never the subject of jokes, or treated as a moral failing. Tempo, also from the MLF, who was just really cool. The M-twins, one of whom was autistic. C'jime, a giant flying wolf from another series and look I just want everyone to acknowledge that it is amazing that Storm is friends with a giant flying wolf. It's a thing that happened. It is canon. Why didn't Greg Pak use that in his Storm run? Everyone would have bought that!
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. We need to get Marvel to make a whole book called C'jime, the Giant Flying Wolf from Another World. It would sell like hotcakes.

Then make crossovers with Werewolf By Night and Cap-Wolf. I need this in my life.
Land is on MU, noooooooo! That also pretty much confirms it's the new mutant book.
Land doesn't just do mutant titles. He did Mighty Avengers, he did Iron Man. He's done non-X-titles. The X-titles are just what he's best-known for, because they're easily the biggest books he's been attached to.
Though, the fact that it's Bunn and Land, the Uncanny X-Men creative team, does indicate it's likely to have a major mutant focus. But we'll see. If we're lucky, it'll have nothing to do with the X-Men, and we'll be blessed with another few Land-free issues of UXM.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.human supporting cast is certainly something I liked in the classic X-Men books. they were all so badass! Moira McTaggert, Peter Corbeau, Lee Forrester, Carol Danvers (well, before she became Binary...), Stevie Hunter, and others I forgot, were damn interesting and actually helped save the day. oh and Ka-Zar. the biggest badass of the whole south pole area.

Apparently, Kieron Gillen has an unannounced Marvel project that he's working on. It's an ongoing. Since it hasn't been announced and Gillen is the writer, I am hoping against hope that it's a Ms. America series, which would be awesome.
Although, this post has him saying that he's on a break from doing any Work For Hire stuff, so I'm not sure if that's true anymore.

It's the next Star Wars book. He's done with superhero WFH books and is on a break from them. Alonso has been very clear with his "subtle" teasing that Gillen has another book after Vader.
hopefully it takes place in another time era than the rebellion.
Huh. New MU teaser this time with Cullen Bunn and Adam Kubert. So it seems we have one writer (Cullen Bunn) and three artists (Steve McNiven, Greg Land, and Adam Kubert). Which is...weird. Perhaps Marvel is trying to do a weekly series again?

I notice claw marks hmmmm....is wolvies extended vacation coming to an end?
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Considering there is only one writer id normally be worried but bunn has always written a lot at the same time
They're handing Bunn the entire X-line, maybe? That'd be stressful.
Well chris claremont managed it for a very long time
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."
I'm actually totally OK with that, and would be fine if we had more cross-reality friendships. Like, Carol pops over to another world to hang out with Stephanie Rogers, Major America. Dazzler goes to Nocturne's world to watch the Beatles in concert. I would love that.
