When Ewing said the book would end with Secret Wars and that he would be busy with other books he said that from what he knew there wasn't going to be a new book with Loki and that no writers had asked him questions which they would've done if they were restarting the book in a few months.

I mean, Al Ewing is writing three books for Marvel post-SW (Ultimates, Contest of Champions, and New Avengers). But he also seems like a writer who can write a ton of good books at the same time.
They could do what they're doing with Magneto where they're effectively giving his solo series a Spiritual Successor team book.
There wasn't a Loki-focused book between Journey into Mystery and Agent of Asgard but Young Avengers certainly sufficed.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.If there was a new book with Loki, who would you want to write it that isn't Gillen(only going to do Vader for Marvel/Disney for now since he and Mc Kelvie are focusing on their projects)or Ewing(who has the post-Secret Wars books to do)?
Someone who will do a good job with the character.
Can't say I know who will and won't until I see them tackle him.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.G. Willow Wilson seemed to have the tone for Kid Loki down when she had Young Adult Loki guest spot in Ms. Marvel. At any rate, it was enough to finally convince me to read Agent of Asgard, so I think she'd be able to do magnificently on the character full-time.

-covered in poop-
Loki: "It was Thor's fault."
-proceeds to tell a story that has nothing to do with Thor-
"We're sending you to New Jersey."
I would actually love to see Loki as a member of the Avengers (either Ewing's New Avengers, where he can hang out with Hulking and Wiccan, or Waid's All-New, All-Different Avengers, where he can totally hang out with Ms. Marvel).
It just struck me, but the new Ultimates lack a magic user. They have people who can fly, people who can punch hard and people who can fire non magical blasts but they don't have someone who can just look at a rune on a wall and say "Argh, I hate dealing with demons!".
Wasn't Loki technically a member of Pym's Mighty Avengers?
By deceit yeah but he was hanging with them for a while.

Forever liveblogging the Avengers...now that you mention it, I also want Loki on the Avengers.
I want him to aggravate Tony Stark by frequently claiming a high-ranking position on the team, on grounds that he's a founding Avenger; because they formed as a response to him, y'see.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3."I also reformed your junior team!"
"You were using them up to the last moment!"
"Details! I was also the one who got the Avengers to reform after Osborn took over."
"You did?"
"Yeah, I told Osborn to attack Asgard and tricked him into thinking his Green Goblin persona convinced him and then you reformed as a full team after the siege and my death. I'm a new person now!"
"...Sam, do you think we can send him off world without him bumping into Thanos, the Guardians, an 11th realm or a planet that makes him their primary god?"
Edit: This is the only time post-Siege that Loki has interacted with Tony IIRC.◊

- STARK: So you went off on a completely unauthorized mission to—
- WICCAN: It wasn't unauthorized.
- STARK: Sam explicitly forbid you from doing it.
- WICCAN: Yeah, but Loki said we could, and as a founding Avenger, he outranks—
- STARK: Oh, don't YOU start with that now!
I won't lie, I'd read it.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersGod, now I want to see how Operation: Galactic Storm would've gone.
Edit: Comic Book Legends: Marvel reboot.

Probably not picking it up.
huh weird world exists in the nu mu. how... odd.
Well, Weirdworld existed in the Old Marvel Universe, too, so not that odd.
I wonder if Tieri will be able to resist the urge to have Black Knight call someone gay. (Why no, I won't let that go. Not until Tieri shows positive representation of gay characters.)
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.What happened?
"Spider-Gwen" Artist: "We Can't Really Create New Characters"
IIRC he killed off Northstar once. Dunno if there was anything else.
That.
Given the way Agent of Asgard ended, I would not be surprised if announcement of Loki's future involvement post-SW in some way spoils something for the SW event itself.
I'm am certain that Marvel does not have zero plans for one of its most popular characters from both their comic and film enterprises.
