Marvel Zombies 3 is that. Aaron Stack and Jocasta vs Zombies and Vambie Morbius.

January solicits. She-Hulk is ending, but the solicit implies Jen's going to end up somewhere. And Silver Surfer really was just on hiatus.

Also, New Ultimates seems to be ending but I think we already knew that.

Solicitations thoughts:

Wolverines #3 and 4: Fantomelle? A female version of Fantomex? But . . . we already had Cluster as a female version of Fantomex. Well, whatever.

I think Captain Marvel is on the cover of Avengers #40, behind Thanos, getting ready to punch him. I'm not entirely sure, because she's laying down so most of her costume can't be seen, and they've fucking inexplicably greyscaled it for no fucking reason at all because they're fucking idiots, and Marvel's not exactly lacking in women with blonde hair so that's no help, but I think it's her.

Avengers #34.2 will be written by Sam Humphries, and will be all about Starbrand. Maybe he's the gay character, and it'll fucking finally be revealed.

Ms. Marvel in SHIELD #2! Sweet!

Spider-Verse #2's solicit is rather excited. It promises Video-Game Spidey, Punk-Rock Spidey, Fairy Tale Spidey, and a Mexican Spidey in Spanish. Let's hope that story has an artist who's very, very good at visual storytelling. Spider-Verse Team-Up #5 will have stories that include both Spider-Girls - one story with Anya, another with Mayday.

Winter Soldier #4 has the Bucky of the future. Sounds neat.

Thor vs. Thor!

Nova #26 will have Carnage show up. Holy crap.

Rocket Raccoon #7 will have Felipe Andrade on art. I'm disappointed Skottie Young won't be doing it, but I did enjoy Andrade's style on Captain Marvel, and it'll be even more appropriate here. So it's cool.

Guardians 3000 #4: Still no sign of Nikki.

All-New Invaders #14 looks like it's going to add Toro to the cast. Because if there's one thing that books needs more of, it's straight white guys.

End of She-Hulk? You bastards! Shit-shitting shit! I've been loving that book. I'm so sad that it's ending.

Ms. Marvel's cover shows her eating what looks like a muffin. I love this series. Even the covers are cute. Everyone else gets these intense covers, and her intense cover has her eating a muffin.

All-New Ghost Rider #10: Please, please don't let Johnny Blaze be a permanent part of the book. I don't give a shit about Johnny Blaze. I've never given a shit about Johnny Blaze. Robbie's the Ghost Rider, let Blaze go somewhere else.

Captain Marvel will be a "Christmas Carol" issue. How punny. The cover suggests it's going to be Kit-focused. Yay! Kit's awesome.

Spider-Man and the X-Men looks like it might be continuing the idea of Sauron-as-scientist, which Jason Aaron pulled straight out of his ass, and which ignores his entire history prior to that stupid, stupid, unbelievably fucking awful and stupid Hellfire Academy arc. Ugh.

I'm excited for G. Willow Wilson's arc of X-Men.

Storm as a fugitive? Works for me. (Also, the name of her first TPB is "Make It Rain." That's hilarious.)

X-Force #14: Two things. First, Forget-Me-Not's not dead! Second, I love how everyone on the cover has guns, most of them multiple big guns, except for Psylocke, who's just carrying a couple swords, and is still the most intimidating one there. The thousand-yard stare helps a lot.

I'll be buying: Squirrel Girl, Spider-Man 2099 (maybe), Operation SIN (maybe), Angela, Mighty Avengers, Rocket Raccoon, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, All-New Ghost Rider, Loki, Silver Surfer, Captain Marvel, X-Men, Storm, Uncanny X-Men (two issues), X-Force, All-New X-Men, Deadpool's Art of War, All-New X-Factor (two issues). So 21 comics. Though two of them are only "maybes."

So it looks like the next event Marvel is bringing back is Infinity Gauntlet.
