Jane and Sam are a couple, Loki and Logan have a rivalry going for an Infinity Stone, SHIELD is gone, Wakanda has an intergalactic empire, Voyager is an Avenger from the early days, the narrator of the issue is Valeria Richards
Already got spoiled on the return of Wolverine-Prime, so I guess I'll stop visiting this thread until after I read Marvel: Legacy #1.

Raw deal for Deadpool, dang.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]Was there a Time Skip or something?
The Protomen enhanced my life. This sounds like shit. Well written but still shit. Instead of bringing back some old stuff and creating a mixture of old and new they instead came up with new ”old” stuff to retcon in.
Living Lightning was dead?
As far as events go, doesn't sound too bad. About on the level of Dark Knight: Metal; lots of references to continuity, bringing back dead characters, "unknown history of vagueness", etc. Probably won't be to bad, standard event stuff.
Though Metal is a pretty great event so far.
I don't think Marvel's Legacy will be as good as it.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Eh, its not really doing anything for me. It comes off like the writer was basically reading a lot of Judge Dredd, Sandman, and Morrison's JLA, and mushed it all into a blender. Nothing about it says to me "Wow, this is gonna be remembered as a great event" so much as "hey remember that time Batman met Dream? or the time the JLA fought the Dark Judges? kinda?"
Like, I can already tell that Dark Knight:Metals is probably going to be nothing more than a piece of fan trivia that you'll see on a Comic's youtube channel or Watch Mojo in about 5 years, and casual fans will probably know of it, in the barest sense, because the Metal leagues suits will probably be alternate costumes in the next Injustice game. Ands that's about it: cool visuals, story completely unimpressive aside from a few "wha-HUH?" moments, which are inconsequential in the long run except to long time comic geeks. If anything, Metal's has just been hyped a lot more because it's competition at Marvel when it was first released was Secret Empire, one of the worst event comics ever made, so anything would look like a masterpiece in comparison.
So again, standard event comic.
Marvel spoiled things ahead of time again. Sorta. http://www.cbr.com/marvel-legacy-fantastic-four-return/

The Protomen enhanced my life.Pretty sure we already knew about that one. Also, as opposed to Wolverine, that one was kind of obvious.
And of course that deleted Alex Ross tweet.
Some more details on No Surrender.
Worse. Limbo.

Huh, so they're pulling an Amazing Spiderman and merging the Avengers titles into a thrice-monthly book?
...
...Im not against this.
We have seen versions of frank and val since secret wars though. Future Franklin was in the generations 1 shot for iron man, and val was future doctor doom who tried to take future wiccan's soul
"What if they decide to have 05 Jean and Scott become a couple, AND make "modern" Logan and Jean a couple? Would that make people happy?" No. I'd just be disappointed twice. O5 Jean and Scott getting together would be boring, because it would be rehashing what they already did, rather than them doing something new. And Jean and Logan becoming a couple would make me burn the world to the ground, as I noted earlier.
Living Lightning getting to exist? Cool. A gay Latino on the Avengers, two things the Avengers have not a great history with. I hope he gets to be on the main team. It would make him the first openly gay character to serve on the main Avengers team, as opposed to spin-offs and adjuncts.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.What about Pod?
I always forget she was in Hickman's run because she never really got to do anything.

Same. She got her spotlight issue, and then that was it. That was damned near her last appearance in the run. I think her only subsequent appearance was taking Sam and Izzy's baby. And I don't remember if she even got any lines in that appearance.
Regardless, I hope Lightning gets to be actively gay. Let him have a boyfriend. Don't make his sexuality a throwaway line 15 issues in and then never mentioned outside of that.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I remember Living Lightning for getting confusing GLA with GLA and for being an auxiliary member of the Avengers during Wasp's Avengers Unlimited during the Busiek run.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI remember him from Avengers West Coast. He was . . . OK? I guess? He didn't make a big impact on me. But I was rarely all that invested in that series at all.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Living Lightning is... living? He exists and is as far as I know the only Avenger with lightning powers, and he was a part of the expanded team late in Busiek's run, so I guess that counts for something?

Oh, loki is showing up in this. Well, let see how much the writers quash the good will build up in my shriveled heart by Loki: Agent of Asgard.
All I remember from Living Lightning is from that one panel in Busiek's run where Iron Man tries to show how Not Racist he is.
Knowing marvels current track record I wouldn't be surprised if they ressurected the love triangle, and then made a story arc where the villains are a bunch of straw fans who are portrayed as idiot losers.
