So the team breaks up and gets replaced at the end of Civil War, it looks like.

[up] They mentioned that team will go missing.

We already know what next season will be about? After only like 8 episodes of this one aired? Also, both Marvels on one team? Also also - team will be 3 dudes and 4 chicks? Is that even legal?

Why were the Inhumans needlessly being jerks in this episode?

Aren't they always?

Alternatively, conflict ball.

Remember how season 2 made a loosely defined "adaptation" of Civil War in that they divided the Avengers then had them almost fight before Ultron arrives? Well, after I told my brother about it, he and I have started to theorize that "Civil War" actually is a jargon used by Avengers to design any petty quarrel or argument they have^^

The Inhumans being elitist dickheads is pretty par for the course.

Also, both Marvels on one team?

They're protected from the law of Cast Speciation by virtue of having completely different powers I guess.

Going with conflict ball since I don't them being dickish on the other shows.

[up][up] True, but compare to their appearance in Ultimate Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy this was an overly dickish portrayal of the team.

I theorize the reason they are like that way is because the writers wanted to do an adaption of Avengers vs X-Men. But due to some weird rule where they the writers/animators can't use Fox owned Marvel characters, they substitute the X-Men with the Inhumans. I mean seriously, if you watch the episode and pretend each of the Inhumans are X-Men you will most likely think this is an adaption of that story arc judging by its plot.

. . . WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?! Doing an adaption of a polarizing comic filled with character derailment and uncalled for Conflict Ball that makes everybody look like assholes! And the episode attempts to recreate that story, not to mention confusing me in this universe's continuity with the show Ultimate Spider-Man where the Inhumans are on better terms with humanity and actually wanted unity with them.

I think that by this point they have pretty well established that they don't give a crap about continuity between their show.

Another Inhumans episode.

The show finally FINALLY gives me five seconds of Kamala. Keep it up, show.

I'm not one to complain overmuch about make it like the movies but Ultron's design does not work in animation the way it worked in the movie. Its very distracting when he moves his mouth. Also, this is the kind of Ultron I've always feared having: calm, measured, in control, superior and dismissive. BORING. This is the worst kind of Ultron. Several times it sounded like he was holding off yawns. He honestly sounded as bored with himself as I was.

Pretty much all villains in this show are boooooooring.

I'd disagree but I can't remember any villains.

I guess the Cabal was more or less entertaining. Some good over the top personalities. And also Dracula.

The Squadron Supreme was entertaining. Or at least Hyperion was. In the same way that Superboy Prime can be.

Not particularly. Although he also hasn't shown up since the Squadron were taken down.

I vaguely recall earlier Ultron for chewing scenery a bit more.

And also for coming way the fuck out of nowhere to steal the infinity gems and do jack and shit with them.

Assemble Ultron is the worst.

[up][up]Nope, hasn't changed a bit. They just changed his design to match the movie's, which not only doesn't work in animation as Bocaj just explained, but also makes him a terrible match: the reason they made him with an emoting face in Age of Ultron was so they could take advantage on Spader's acting performance to show his emotions through motion capture. Since this Ultron DOESN'T show emotion, having his face emote is spectacularly pointless.

Meh. Hopefully, they make another Avengers show that doesn't shamelessly copy the movies. Ultimate Spiderman going down too. I liked that one, but it had some major flaws.

As far as this show's villains goes, Squadron Supreme, Justin Hammer and Dracula are the only ones I found entertaining.

Squadron Supreme is great to watch for adhering to their original purpose as being Marvel's villainous Take That! to DC's Justice League. Especially when the team end up becoming the Big Bad for the better parts of season two.

Justin Hammer's role of Big Bad Wannabe is fun to watch as he tries to do assert himself as a serious threat to the Avengers. Wish it was taken to its logical conclusion with him attempting at creating his own criminal empire of super villains (most of which made up of C-listers and D-listers) during season two; that would be a good set up for the eventual Masters of Evil/Thunderbolts story arc as it explains where these lesser known criminals are coming from.

Dracula because, well, he's Dracula. And it sucks that he gets the shaft after season one along with Doctor Doom.

[up]Pretty much agree overall. Design aside, Dracula at least had the merit of being creepy and having potential. A shame they did nothing with him, he was one of the most unique elements in an otherwise very generic show.

On a plus side, them having boring villains IS faithful to that MCU they are trying to hard to emulate^^

Yay, Kamala!

I don't think she was quite in character aside from being a fangirl but its fun to see her powers in motion

The most recent episode is practically a Kamala episode. She helps Cap and Iron Man fight an Ultron bot and Ghost, says embiggen a handful of times, gets a tour of the tower, geeks out about the Avengers, and takes selfies. Oh and Inferno is there too but besides being more reckless he's hitting the same beats.
