The more I visit TRS, the more I think that the wiki needs a whole overhaul where categorization is concerned.
Preeeeeeety much. It's exacerbated by the wiki having grown naturally.
Anyway, tag fixed.
I don't think it's a genre, but I do think it's a trope in presentation.
Fight smart, not fair.Agreed. And the wiki should make the differences between audience reaction articles, tropes, useful notes and such more noticeable.

Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning. You're right that this isn't a genre, and I don't actually see anything on the page to indicate that it is. Is the problem that it's on the genres index?
Well I took it off that index.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It's not really a trope, either. A 3D gimmick shot, which we don't have a page for, is a trope, but that's a problem with the wiki in general (Blu-ray also isn't a trope, for instance), not just this page.
I guess Useful Note makes the most sense?
It's a visual style. Just because it uses extra tech does not make not a trope.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It's not a useful note. The useful note pages for this already exist.
It's not a genre, because it's a format. See this index (which it's already on).
Clocking due to lack of activity.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.It's off the genres index. That's good enough.
Not much else to say here, it seems.

3-D movie is not a genre. It's either a medium or a useful note about the technology used. (I lean toward the former.)
