I only have 2, 4 and 5 (vanilla) hehe....
Oh well, my first car in 2 was FTO GT (used). My first car in 4 is Nismo 270 R, which can be obtained through Bronze-ing the Inter B License, and unlike the latter game it doesn't force you to buy a car to do anything
I've temporarily put 5 on stasis. But my first car is a used MX-5. Seemed legit and practical (because there's gotta be Mazda Roadsters race in every game)
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...I just got Gran Turismo 5, I haven't touched a game in this series for years. Should be fun.
I have pretty much every Gran Turismo ever released from beginning to end. Both PS 1 titles, both PS 2 titles, the PSP game, and GT 5 Prologue and Full version on PS 3.
On a related note, Gran Turismo 6 was just announced today and is set for a holiday release this year for PS 3 only. Here's the Concept Video:
GT 6 just came out today worldwide. Anyone playing it?
Anyone with the game can tell me how Arcade Mode's like? I liked how in GT 4 you would unlock cars if you obtained the model in Career, and that has been taken away on 5.
No regret shall pass over the threshold! So, same crappy system from 5... I guess Polyphony just sucks on game design.
No regret shall pass over the threshold! There are different driving mechanics, but I suppose they just can't bother getting out of their framework. To be fair, if they take more different directions, they risk treading on the territory of other games. Besides, NO MORE STUPID SPEC POINTS GRINDING, HURRAY!

Same as usual.... Wing it.Well, gameplay engine and mechanics are surely their forte. Unfortunately, they just plain suck on game design, which makes me a bit sad there's no Forza for PS 3.
No regret shall pass over the threshold!Just got GT 6 for $20 during a Black Friday sale. I'd say I'm off to a good start, considering after unlocking the ability to play Special Events, I immediately went to the latest one (as of this post, the Time Trial event with the Subaru Vision GT concept car on the full Autumn Ring track), got gold on it, and earned around 400k credits from it.
Bumping this article to let people know that Gran Turismo Sport just got released a couple days back for the PS 4. For those who don't know what it is, it's a more competitive racing-focused spinoff with less emphasis on collecting every car and tweaking them with performance upgrades and more focus on just racing, especially online multiplayer racing. Seems like it's already building up something of a Broken Base, if Amazon user reviews are of any indication.
Jaguar designed an electric sports car just for Gran Turismo.
It's coming to GT Sport.
Optimism is a duty.
So I had a hankering for racing recently, and decided to pick up Gran Turismo 4 for about $4. So far, i've conquered the Honda CIVIC races (TWICE), sold one of the prize cars and now have a supercharged Holden Commodore.
Do you guys remember your first car from any of the games?
