Anyway, I now have an idea for the good path. A dark wizard, who he encounters early on in the evil path, and kills, rises in power, and he has to fight against it as his friends die around him before he eventually defeats the wizard with a Heroic Sacrifice where no one is there to see, meaning that his sacrifice is never heard of, and no one remembers him in the history books.
So either way, he suffers a Fate Worse than Death, huh?

...Or, more probable, the time tables change each year, so the time table for Gryffindor fouth years during the 1994 term put potions at the same time that the 1991 time table for Gryffindor first years did.

We need to create a timetable for this game specifically.
I won't be able to take on as active a role in the roleplay, due to the number of commitments that have sprung up. And don't be surprised if I don't post for several days at a time. I know that I'm the game's GM, but this game isn't particularly plot-oriented, and I feel that you guys can sort things out for yourselves.
Just pretend that Hayley was there the whole time, and that she was off in classes, studying, doing extra-curricular activites, feeding her bats etc...
deathpigeon, I'm still willing to contribute to your story idea by writing Hayley's parts.
So... Edward becomes a Magnificent Bastard Villain Protagonist a la Light Yagami, and the antagonists have to stop him.
Hayley would fit the role of L, but her personality is closer to Mello, albeit less Ax-Crazy.
