It's a justforfun picture, so really the only question is whether or not you think it's funny.
Alrighty. I'm new here, so I just assumed it applied to all pages, but it still kind of a bugs me a bit.
Edit: Just got the message for posting, and visual puns are listed as safe to this kinda thing. I get the ones where it's more obviously a visual pun, but this one was subtle enough to fly right over me. Perhaps the caption needs to be changed?

Made the caption a pothole to Visual Pun. That good?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think a better caption would be just "William of Ockham, holding his razor."
Of course, if someone can provide a picture that actually serves to illustrate the concept, that would be preferable.
Let's just say and leave it at that. The problem is it's a pun on what is already a metaphorical term of the trope. The actual point is the preference of the simpler explanation. That can still be done with some kind of pun, but it's not shown in the current picture or the suggestions.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I much prefer that one. The current one could actively give you the wrong idea of the trope. That one is clearly Just for Fun and doesn't grant any suppositions about it either way.
Prefer to current, since it doesn't require a caption. Current is still good, though.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Personally I prefer the current image but either one works. Here's how the suggestion looks at 350:
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!
I actually like the two choices, now: the link to Visual Pun clears it up for stuffy peeps like me, and the alternative image works just as well.
Problem solved, I'd say.
Definitely prefer that one to the Sweeney Todd pic.
Move to replace
It's clearly a visual pun, so it's not something gives a semblance of being a serious use of the trope/idea, which is a good thing.
Replace. The new pic has some relation to William of Ockham.
somethingBump...anyone else?
I agree with Willbyr on the new pic.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXkI1sTDoEgYes, I like the Willbyr's pic.
That's enough of a consensus with the previous votes to make the switch; the razor pic is up, potholed, and tagged. No caption needed; add as you feel necessary. Locking up.
For Occam's Razor's current article, it's just a picture of Sweeny Todd holding a razor with dramatic text below.
Current image:
Edit: With the nature of the pic trying to be a visual pun, let me shift my focus on the caption: it doesn't have that visual pun punch like with What Happened to the Mouse? or Running Gag. What could help distinguish this from JAFAAC?
(Also, is there any way to change the reason for changing the image/caption to something else reflect the new purpose of this thread?)
