I just wanted to point out that Yuri Genre has gotten an update on its description (with help from Koveras), so it now actually describes the genre rather than just talks about it.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.

I was a fan of the Yuri Elements rename and a bit of spit-polish to try and cover common Yuri tropes that show up in non-yuri series. Having participated in the discussion, it is clear that fan service or not, there are certain tropes to how these characters are depicted in Japanese media that can be noted without the problematic name.
