I don't get this at all.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Motion to pull
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThe image is barely legible. Pull.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. While bad, I don't think it subtracts from the trope page. The hard part is seeing what it actually shows. But once you see that, you do see an Omniscient Council of Vagueness, which is a typical example of the trope.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. For what it's worth, I still don't know what the trope is about. My guess, without reading the article, is "character is very important in-universe, but is a minor player / not important, from the outside"... is that right? The caption seems like it's trying to help say that, but it doesn't, I don't think. Can it be modified?
edit: Yeah that's close... more like "should be important to the plot, given their identity/rank/role/etc, but is not". Knowing that, the current caption makes more sense. I think it should make sense before understanding the trope, not after, tho.

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerClock is set.
I just can't see how we can picture this. I vote imageless.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
It's also kind of hard to see.
