I'm biased since Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Genesis) was the first video game I've played in my life, but I still have to give it to SMW.
If it were Sonic 2 or Sonic 3 we were talking about, I think there'd be a whole different story here... '3'

Mario, no contest. I mean, the Sonic games were great, but in my opinion, SMW was, and always will be, the hands down best platformer ever made, period. No contest. It was fucking perfect.
