Really not my kind of show. I think I'll stop here.
So I was partially correct. LOL, he didn't "save" someone else though, he was forced to be the figurehead.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.I wouldn't be a fan of dragging the "mystery" on for too long, and I liked this episode more than the rest of them so far. So if they can pull off at least another one or two of these mini-arc mysteries it could improve the show.
So Aniki can refer to an older sister too huh?
But... Oh my. That pun. Really? That's... A bilingual pun at the very least, plus I'm not sure why anyone would make the leap... Ah well, nitpicks.
I think I'm enjoying this series enough to keep watching, though this would be a good place to stop.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."No, Houtarou is saying Aneki. Not Aniki.
Ah, I did think it somewhat strange.
Damn, Kanji is hard. I wonder if it's actually possible to learn it.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."I dunno. I've learned like 20 so far for my Japanese class. Don't think my head can fit in any more.
There was insufficient Chitanda fidgeting this episode. I am displeased.
Ibara kinda made up for it so it's fine.
Was kinda expecting the mystery to last longer, but I guess I would have found it weirder if it dragged on, since you really only have to ask the right people for the answer.
I wonder if we'll get a mini-mystery next episode, I kinda miss those.
But Eru was able to read Kanji and associate it with other terms in different dialects. Way to go, top student!
Hey everybody. Just finished watching the current episodes. Is anyone else here loving the sound track?
There have been quite a few things that I'd consider a striking feature of this series, but the soundtrack isn't really one of them.
more for me then.
You're the opposite of me. I find everything mesmerizing.

Of course, that might be a result of the way I usually ignore the soundtrack. It must be particularly excellent if I'm to actually notice anything of it.
Loved the soundtrack for Bakemonogatari and Madoka Magica for example.
I think this mystery isn't solved yet. Hyouka has different meanings( other ones are valuation, estimation, assessment, evaluation according to an online dictionary) which can come up later, also [[Spoiled by the Format: it's only the fifth episode.]]
My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)I'm pretty sure that specific mystery is completly wrapped up. It was pretty definitive imo with all the loose ends being tied up. Probably more mysteries going to come up.
Well yeah. Isn't the mystery only a small part of the light novels that the series is based off of?
@fruitpork I really like the soundtrack too. The OP might be the third or fourth best one this season.
I love the classical music soundtrack. My mind has currently blanked out of engaging metaphors but it's really good. I love the OP, the ED less so.
Episode 6 is out.
This was probably the most simplistic "mistery" so far, but it was the episode I enjoyed the most, thanks to the characters.
Also, lol at "Chintadael".
My favourite thins abou the episode:
1. "Aww, I thought I'd found my soulmate!" 2. Chitanda leaning closer and closer over the table until she's all but crawling up in Oreki's face.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntAm I the only one who was screaming in fangirl delight throughout the entire episode, especially the second half? Goddamn shipping senses making me ship to death.
The whole dynamic of these 4 is comedy gold!
I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious I'm curious
I want an Eru angel plushie.
I love every aspect of the show.
