On that note, he's a more obvious but fairly entertaining one (done line-by-line because the full thing didn't reach equilibrium).

Those were both perfect.

I like that you can feed Skuppy lyrics in, and ore often than not they still make just as much sense as when you fed them in.

Just for the hell of it, I ran the song that I happen to be listening to right now (Like an Outlaw by Social Distortion). Here is the original line:

Like an outlaw I'd lie for you, I'd kick and scream and do time for you.

And the translation:

Random scream of the outlaws and the main hiking
"Swear my fun wall 1, After the first run. Run the again. Forever can it?

See your eyes Crying child care Flight of the Raven fly Meaning of mold Before the There are lots of it. At:

Say it again You said

Sounds like this. Where are you now? I know young people. Breath of glass Once again She feels a pull Then everybody leaves You cannot. Spam.

Can I hide what? Take a look at yourself. You can stop what? Run the help. You cannot give the past. Complete. Now, raise the dead I want my life.

What is it? Is your sanity isn't. God what you can. It is no. Dance the one more time than me too. Your mind breath wind. Yet the catch"

Word Salad Lyrics don't begin to describe it. Original song: "Shot Down in Flames", Silent Hill 0rigins

Some of the shorter lyrics turned out exactly the same as they were in the original. Some lyrics failed to acquire equilibrium at all.

I like that better, actually.

And I love how the Journey one is essentially the polar opposite [lol]
I plugged that in myself because I wanted to share it with my friend who hates that song, but instead I got "I think I feel the people to stop."

Just a technical point here, but one reason why a lot of phrases become so unbelievably funny via Translation Party is the fact that Japanese is a pro-drop language: If there is no specifier as to what "it" or "he" or "she" is, those words will magically vanish in translation. Ditto plural forms, definite articles and any number of different negatives.

Honestly, if they ran it through, say, Mandarin Chinese, the results would ultimately be a lot less funny simply by dint of the much-more-reasonable grammar rules.

[up] I won't deny that. I am a massive nerd, and a geek to whit. It's just that my main focus of nerditude is music, which is vaguely socially acceptable; my others—linguistics being a big one—are not half as cool to most people.
