HURRAH! HURRAH!
Well, this is quite awesome. A part of me wants more info, but another part of me hopes they continue to keep this under wraps... >_>
M Bison, if you please...

Although I haven't bought the first game yet, but still whoo!
DumboYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES YEEESSSSS!!!
This absolutely made my day!
Still waiting for the first one on 3ds.
Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.Well, i've played the first levels of Rayman Origins, and it's excellent. If they refine the gameplay and art style further, i don't think anyone can comprehend that.
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.I don't know why, but the art gives me a weird sort of Skullmonkeys vibe.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaWell, this is a pleasant surprise. Didn't the original underperform?
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI couldn't get a look at the pictures before because I was at school, but now that I can get a good look at them, I have to say they're pretty intersting. The art syle looks more... I want to say watercolorish. And going for a more Greek feel? Kind of a strange choice, but I'm interested to see where hey go with it.
@X 2 X:Actually, Ubisoft said that RO has turned a profit for them.

but it still underperformed. but it's nice we still get sequel
Whoooooooo.
Easy street has no parking signs., Well, that's great then.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadIt underperformed at first, but thanks to a price drop and word of mouth, it became a long-tail seller. Turning a profit + critically acclaimed + project that got Ubisoft on happy terms with Michel Ancel again = sequel bait.
Too bad it's yet another distraction from what everyone wants to see out of him...
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~Madrugada^You saying they shouldn't do Rayman sequel? D:<
More like "while people don't mind Rayman, they'd rather see a BG&E sequel first."
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI believe Rayman Origins was done as a side project at first. Is that accurate?
I hope the porting will take less time with this sequel.
I'm not sold on the setting we will apparently be getting, but as long as it looks nice I guess.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Fingers crossed that this time the real Mr Dark will make a comeback...
@X 2 X: Exactly. I love the hell out of Origins, but BG&E2 has been in development for so freaking long, and they've been teasing us with it for so many years, I wish Ancel would just clear out the side-projects and extra things and just work full-time on BG&E2. I'd be more than happy to wait for Origins 2 if it means BG&E2 will release sometime not long after the first game's tenth birthday.

Seems a bit more 2.5D than the original, though. Still, I'll probably get this.

Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. We got new screenshots! Either all the character models are in 3D, or they're using a much better shader.
Also, a trailer. Musics ehhh, but it looks like we might be getting an online mode.
And we also have a potential name. Rayman Legends, anybody?
