The Gen IV games had a different localization team on it, while Gen V has a different one from what I've heard. I can't remember the exact differences between the localization teams though.

They're probably going to play a different role than in Black and White, since N is most likely not a part of Team Plasma anymore. There might even be a Pokemon battle against them if the anime trailer is anything to go by.

I always thought they were for N, since they appeared a lot with him.

The Triad directly serve Ghetsis because he saved them. From what nobody knows. We know even less about the Goddesses, so I agree that an explanation about them is desperately needed.
