The Place for Purging Porn and Pedo-Pandering (AKA P5 flag evaluations)

I heard it's more a comedy that doesn't really describe sex scenes. Well either way, it's a fan fic that shouldn't take too long to read enough to decide.

There has been a lot of obscure fanfiction lately... Apparently someone has been clearing bunkers full of nothing but fanfiction in their free time... And flagging them for us.

There's 33 chapters and nearly 70,000 words of this thing. It might take a while, but I'm starting it right now.

Well, it depends what version of the characters. Post-Time Skip or before. They're much older in the Post-Time Skip. Then it's a matter of whether it's really porn or not.

Okay, the authors notes give me a lot of hope that this isn't as bad as it sounds. It DOES mention that the story takes place after Tsunade becomes Hokage, but before Sasuke runs off to Orochimaru. If someone can tell me what age that makes the characters, that'd be great.

I'd rather point out this:

"Warnings: This is NOT a smut/lemon/rabid sex fic as the title may suggest. This is T. Not R, people. There will be juicy innuendo though...and smut behind the scenes. This is a total crack fic. Expect silliness; Embrace the insanity."

Lesse, that'd be pre-time skip, which makes the younger characters such as Naruto in the 12-13 range.

Not a Naruto fan, but I read about 15 chapters of that Mating Frenzy fanfic and couldn't find anywhere that any sex actually happens. It's mostly about the characters going through school-esque sex education and being paired off romantically, and the hijinks that ensue from that.

I may just not have hit the bad chapters in my random selections, but as far as I could tell there was nothing that would count as porn or pedo pandering.

edit: If you feel up to them, the Baldr Sky and Sengoku Rance threads are effectively dead-locked and in need of resolution one way or another. However, if you'd rather wait until you get back to take the proper time to make a decision on those, I would certainly understand.

Onto chapter two and this really just seems like a high school sex comedy. And a somewhat poorly formatted one at that.

Okay, ten chapters out of 33 read. The only potentially problematic scene is so vague that it's almost pointless to bring it up - basically, Ino is making out with Shikamaru, and he's too lazy to actually take his clothes off, so she exasperatedly asks him if she can put a hand down his pants. AAAND scene cut. The whole thing was probably 40 words and was not titillating at all. Everything in this fic is being played for humor.

I could be wrong since I gave up on Naruto canon long ago, but I thought Sasuke left before Tsunade came back to the village anyway?

No, he left in the arc after the one with Tsunade coming back.

I don't think cannon violations are grounds for cutting. Unless the Fast one pulls a Fast one and puts a ban on all fan works.

It had nothing to do with canon. The whole point was determining their age.

...And since it's pretty much not porn anyway...

This fanfic is bizarre as hell, and not particularly well-written in any regard, but it's not in violation of any of our policies as of chapter 13.

It's more that I was thinking it wasn't really possible to tell what age the characters were supposed to be, because there were major events pointing in opposite directions.

Personally I'd rather keep Naruto fanwork over the canon anyway...

Read the last five chapters just to be sure. The tone stays the same throughout the whole story. I don't think there's anything here worth cutting.

OK, done preparing for the trip. Looking over the discussion about Fanfic.The Mating Frenzy, it doesn't seem cutworthy. Page doesn't seem like it needs cleaning, either. Giving it the final angelhead and resolving to keep.

Next in the queue are The Spiderses and Sensitive Pornograph. The latter is linked in the PPPPP thread, but I will waste some of my time to find out more.

Cool. Can you focus on Fanfic.The Spiderses? I remember going through Sensitive Pornograph. Once I look over my notes here, I'll vote on it.

Edit: in the mean time, looking at The Spiderses. The bad spelling and utter lack of capitalization is painful.

The fact that it's a MLP:FIM fic means that GIS has far too many ponies - no clop porn, so far.

The plot sounds a bit more questionable, it doesn't seem to have much plot and is awfully written to boot - but no Excuse Plot as far as I can see. Spider sex is repeatedly mentioned (also on equestriadaily), but it looks more like IKEA Erotica at least at the beginning. ML Pfanartwikia has a banner saying "semi explicit sexual content"

Judging by pastebin.com it seems to be not too explicit and has a plot I can't pinpoint, but not an Excuse Plot and far more than IKEA Erotica. So I'd say "keep and clean" here.
