Highschool of the dead is rated M, and is shrinkwrapped in the Barnes and Nobles, but so is Kore Wa Zombie or whatever.

Imma Youjo seems to be a Hentai. Adding it to the list.

It's shrinkwrapped where you are? That's weird I don't think I've ever seen it wrapped.

Shrinkwrapped doesn't mean it's an autocut. Just that it's actually open to consideration.

I do live in Tennessee.

They wrap it here in California too.

Saikano was wrapped back when borders had it(M and in TN by the way) and Dance in the Vampire Bund was unwrapped(16+) So I guess its policy to not unwrap anything 18+.

edit: I just checked and saikano and high school of the dead both have explicit content sticker things.

Just as an FYI, in the UK I've seen Battle Royale shrink-wrapped and that has passed review. It may not be shrink-wrapped for reasons that our policy covers. Just as an example.

Quick comment to note that M-rated manga can get shrinkwrap and the "explicit content" label solely for gory violence, even if there is no sex whatsoever. It is not in itself an indication of pornographic content.

Just a reminder, something being rated M doesn't automatically mean that it's veto'd, it just means it doesn't have access to the blanket exemption.

That's super strange. Dance in the Vampire Bund was definitely shrinkwrapped at my local Bn N. Then again, so were certain volumes of Fake. And The Glass Castle. We're a little shrinkwrap-happy there.

My experience is with borders, My local B&N has a 4x6 foot section of wall for manga almost all shonen jump, And my local books a million has a normal section and a section for mature manga almost all yaoi I buy from rightstuf now.

Is it alright if I Request a content violation evaluation for a page that doesnt violate the letter of the new rules, but violates the spirit? (I.E. creepiness, unnecessary gushing about sexual non-tropes?)

Probably not. Either way, this wouldn't be the thread.

regarding bliss stage

I mostly want people to read the rule book before jumping to conclusions its not porn and its abut love and intimacy not strait up sex.

"and having sex is an integral part of the game" its not their is nothing requiring you to do so and if teens having off screen sex is cut worthy then we are going to have to nuke a lot more then just this.

I'm increasingly thinking that the P5 Crew should just be left to their own devices. It seems people harping that their favorite shows/whatever have been banned is just creating friction.

Right - restoration petitions are great, but we need to stop having multi-page derails about how such and such porn animes shouldn't have been cut. So to practice what I preach, that last post has been edited.

Although I mostly agree, there are some review proposals that make out the work in question to be far worse than it is, with the one I'm thinking of being Highschool DXD. I can tell you right now that simply skimming it, especially after reading its proposal, will put it in the wrong light.

And I'm off to bed so don't expect any answers to any questions for roughly 8 hours.

I knew someone would defend Bliss Stage at some point.
