This is how it feels to have chronic pain. Learning that I had a herniated disc in my neck made all the pain I'd been having make sense, and it made me feel like I had the right to be in that much freaking pain all the time. Like, yay, I'm not just being a hypochondriac!
Someone else knows that feel! (Which is very unfortunate for them.)
