Poor Image: Tomboyish Sidetails

Now it's not really a poor image, it's just that I'm having trouble telling that those are her tails. And the pose she is doing pretty much distracts the main purpose of the trope. Maybe something like a close up of someone's face would emphasize the tails better.

Now I'm sorry if I sound picky but the image was bothering me ever since I saw it, we could Keep Until Better Image Suggested or find another image that would show the trope.

No unfortunately, it is from a light novel so there are not that many pictures to take from. I am open for changing character though.

The picture is great and now I can tell the tails. But like Dragon Quest said we need to find something of her doing acting like a tomboy. So yeah, we should choose another character.

I never connected sidetails to Tomboys.... at all they are normally connected to being girly.

Then she is not the trope.

As I said in my first post side tails are a signature of being girly (Doubled up with Yamato Nadeshiko and The Ojou with Hime Cut and Princess Curls) so I really don't get this trope, I have seen more guys with side tails than this trope has examples.... (Bishōnen or otherwise.)

Sorry, I just remembered that she was an example until ccoa deleted the examples that were Zero Context Example. That and I kept on getting hotlinked images.

Also the male equivalent of this trope is Hot Blooded Side Burns.

And females can get something like Go Nagai Sideburns too where the hair points to the face to create something very close to sideburns like Cure Sunshine Kagura and Cutie Honey (the last was done by the trope maker in the middle of creating the trope.)

Well the description on Hot Blooded Side Burns does include females as rare examples just as you mentioned Cutey Honey. Though you are right, we should use rare male examples for Tomboyish Side Tails.

But enough about that, we still need to find some images for the page unless we can use the image you suggested.
