I was gonna say, wasn't that on the lightside? Talk about embarrassing for Ao. XD
It's been fun.Deface of the Moon for love is kind of selfish, but give that they saved the world with their Pacific State, they sorta deserve the tribute.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Given they basically triggered the Second Summer of Love, I'd imagine Renton and Eureka are probably revered in the same breath as Renton's dad now.
Where was this song played?
Watched first episode yet?
Because, the protagonist is Eureka's son!!
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...Everyone knows that...
Anyway the first episode is fan feed. They gave everything a fan want while trying to maintain a new story. Good move. No Rx E on the moon, no Scrub Coral, etc. The only proof that season one existed is Renton and Eureka's son.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura Chifuyu^Which is weird. I expect it'll all be explained eventually; I spent most of the first series confused as to what Scub was, for instance, by design I'm sure.
It's been fun.HE IS SO HUGGABLE!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.So here's a question I have seen no-one ask.
Dosen't Ao have (adopted) siblings out there?
Yes, they were Scrappies, but still.

MAMA!!! HE WANTS TO TAKE OUR MAMA AWAY FROM US!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. They're dead? Yes, it's a young time to die, but you never know when disaster could strike!
Maybe it could even redeem them a bit, maybe they died in an offscreen CMOA.
Infinity...You know, for one time anime children act like actual children rather than idealized saintly little angels or lolicon bait, you'd think that'd earn them a modicum of respect...
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Yes, but...they were so. annoying. I can honestly say that I've never had that much exposure to someone that bratty, and yet we were supposed to care about them? Uh, okay...
I'm sure they could have redeemed themselves at some point; maybe we'll get a flashback to when they're a badass team of LFO pilots and it will be awesome?
deviantArt | TwitterWhy should kids have to redeem or justify themselves? They're just kids! Realistically annoying, clueless, impulsive, emotional kids.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. They're on a show with huge mecha that ride air-waves and a boy whose mother is technically a plant?
I didn't mind that much the first time I watched them, but after multiple watchings on a show with people redeeming themselves left and right their attitude really started rubbing me the wrong way.

Infinity...I didn't like them, but I understood why they acted the way they did, and that makes them okay in my book. It has been a while, though.
It's been fun.Maybe they'll turn up as Long Lost Relatives and become Big Sibling Mentors? An opportunity for Rescued from the Scrappy Heap, to be sure.
Well, all we've been told so far is that Eureka was involved in something (or did something herself) that caused the Scub coral to become actively hostile again, something bad enough that her part in the Second Summer of Love was overshadowed. I wonder where Gekkostate is during all of this, as well... like hell Holland would ever have allowed Eureka's kid to grow up an orphan.
It's been fun.We also have no idea what's up with Renton.
I thought they ended up living with Grandpa.
Maybe they went to live with Holland, Talho and their kid/s and will eventually show up and be awesome.
Infinity...Renton, Eureka and the kids moved back in with Grandpa Thurston, yeah - the last image broadcast after the credits of the final episode was a crayon-esque drawing of them all standing together. Still, that makes me wonder why Ao is alone.
It's been fun. It's possible that Holland/Grandpa don't know there is an Ao.
Infinity...They'd both have to be dead (understandable in Grandpa's case, sadly), because everyone sure as hell knows who Ao's mother is.
It's been fun.I dunno, we got a flashback of Ao and Eureka (Who I noted is dressed like Renton's sister) but no confirmation that Eureka and Renton ever saw Grandpa/Holland/the kids again after the second Summer of Love.
Infinity...
A lot can get fixed in thirty years, especially if the giant universe-warping Scub Coral decides to lend a hand in cleanup. That said, what I'm really looking forward to is when we finally get to see the writing in the moon again.
