Cthulhu Mythos is true but in a different way, and there's more than one of such 'horrors' in the life of Yasaka Mahiro! How will the world stay intact?!

Honestly, the Lovecraft part is underrepresented. It's mostly just random Cthulhu references.

But the main character is so energetic it's hard not to get swept along her pace. It's also actually pretty funny and generally feels like a parody of the typical boy meets supernatural girl story.

Basically, Nyarlko (the character herself) is awesome.

Mahiro is cool guy too (He has fork, you must obey!). I can't belive he is capable of not leting himself get into her pace.

Anyway I love Nyarkos fighting style and whole first episode cost me pretty much of my sanity points...

Kana Asumi's motormouth really made the episode for many people, as it fit with the Crawling Chaos' hyperactive nature in this particular incarnation. And yes, it does seem that a lot of people flubbed their SAN checks for this one.

Not really familiar with the L Ns, and I missed out on the Flash shorts, but I think I got things right with this one: [1]◊ Oh, and avoiding directly naming Elder Gods and all that...

Oddly enough, I'm surprised that no one has given up any of the more obvious s yet. ESPECIALLY since what Nyarlko is doing matches up with how Nyarlathothep's usual M.O. of messing with poor mortal saps.

I dunno, stuff like Mahiro having his SA Nity blasted long ago, and he's really just this nutjob randomly stabbing passersby with a fork? Fun stuff like that.

I only have Haiyoru! Nyarani, but I haven't watched it yet. Didn't even know that a new anime series is airing (until now). Maybe I'll take a look at it, when I have the opportunity.

In any case, I doubt that it will shatter my image of myself.

I'd like to see her true form. My sanity follows uncommon logic, so I should be fine. Probably.

All she wants is to be f**ked by Mahiro, which, technically, he provides. He's just not providing the characters she wants.

What I like even more is that the usual Pervert Payback / Comedic Violence scenes are reversed, for a change. Also, a non-event I found notable, he slapped her chest in one scene, and there was absolutely no reaction.

You know what would be more amazing? Putting the LOVE, in the Lovecraft

While that's actually a logical progression (especially considering the L Ns), it's still more amusing to imagine to imagine the repercussions of a Starfish Alien (or if you prefer NOT to prescribe to the LN canon)/Herald of the Outer Gods mating. At the very least their children will be... unique.

Come on, just go watch hentai. There is tons of it., why do you think these aliens like doujinshi so much?

EDIT: Oh so that is "that" problem with "problematic" content, huh. I didn't though it would bother me until now...

It really, really bothers me how they chose an art style that looks relatively similar to Bokutomo and Denpa Onna's (for the anime) for a show about moe nyarl...something hotep(I can never remember how to spell that) and I don't know why seeing how I wasn't bothered by the LN's art(At least the cover anyway, I never actually read it or saw any othe illustrations.)

It also bothers me how the fork guy has a crush on someone he knows can take a sanity-crushing form of horror tentacles...particularly since it seems like he doesn't really find anything wrong with that so far/doesn't care.

Same person doing character design so same still is rather obvious and cause it is quite cute there I don't see any problem.

About Mahiro crush... I didn't see any, he is rather week against flirting, but it would be same with any other "girl" Also hers Eldritch Abomination nature is so far pretty much only Informed Ability, while cuteness is obvious.
