Schild und Schwert der ParteiWAY too soon! And I'm laughing anyway.
It was an honorOMG — I downright caterwauled a laugh, there.
Yup: you know you've lived a full, productive life... if they want to be at your funeral to stop the eulogy.

Honestly, the greatest thing any human being can hear upon their death is God telling them "Well done, good and faithful servant." A distant second is hearing the Westboro Baptist Church bitterly protesting your life and death.
It was an honor"Who are you calling servant, dude? :V"
I'm talking to you. Whatcha gonna do about it, huh?
It was an honorRebel? I mean, I'd enter active rebellion against the Abrahamic God if he were proven to me.
"Screw you, I'll go to lesbian heaven."
This is totally a thing.
Pfff.
The term lesbian heaven, while accurate, seems somewhat redundant.
Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this.
Well done Sir Taoist.
It was an honorBeautiful.
Much to my BFF's wife's chagrin, No Pants 2013 became No Pants 2010's at his house.

I'll try once again to prove homosexuality has no reason to be a sin, only this time not on a "harmessness" angle but on a characterization angle.
- Calling homosexuality a sin is perfectly in-character for the Old Testament manly man God who sends His children destroy a neighbor with explicit orders to Leave No Survivors and specifies that yes, that includes children because he needs some smaller skulls for the fine details of His throne. Clearly I agree that God has no need for bottoms in His genocide army.
- But ever since the Retool made Him into an omnibenevolent, omniloving deity, calling homosexual acts (or really, any non-reproductive sex) sinful doesn't fit His new character: Instead the NT God would encourage people to love each other as long as there's no harm done; He would want people to practice safe sex rather than risk saddling a woman with a child for whom she's not ready to provide, for it would be distressful to both her and the child; any writing that goes against this is either an artefact from a writer who didn't get the memo, or an Out of Character plot hole.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."
Maybe Jesus was gay, and the NT was the Ur-Example of Running the Asylum?
Schild und Schwert der ParteiOr maybe it's a sin.
It was an honorYeah, but that makes no sense, so I think we can invoke Death of the Author on this one.:P

Elfive did you just suggest the writers of the Bible also worked on season 1 of The Next Generation???
It was an honorYeah well God didn't quite know what he wanted the book to be when he wrote the old testament. When he asked a few other people and stopped going off on so many Author Tracts it made it better.
Where is The Bible Deep Space Nine anyway? I'd like to see the Darker and Edgier bible world.
@Starship: Who are the Bible equivalent of The Maquis anyway?

METAL GEAR!?How much Darker and Edgier than the bible can you get?
Whenever The Bible Deep Space Nine comes out I'll tell you.
METAL GEAR!?What would Book of Revelation God say about homosexuality? Benevolence and compassion kind of went out the window in that book in the name of the mass slaughter of mankind and more mind screw than most anime.

King David: Attention people of Israel. We could outrun the Philistines, but we must remain until the Messiah returns. And we will succeed. Let us make sure history never forgets.....the name.....Israel.
I dunno. But I assume John the Baptist is the closest Sisko analogue.
