Well, Just several faces and a caption. The only real illustration of the trope is in the caption. I realize it's a hard trope to picture, but honestly, we can do better.

Dog from Word World. Or more of the cast.

Some more 1, 2.

If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?

[up] Some creative cut/pasting from those second two pics would work best.

And while we're at it, let's get this image out of the way.

From left to right: Duck, Emily, Little Bear, Owl, Cat, Hen, Mother Bear, Father Bear

What about Yoshi? It's his name but it's even the name of his fictional species.

I'm working on the "creative cut-and-paste" for the third and fourth pics of post 2.

Edit: Some versions — please tell me what to improve. I don't have the tools to reorder the images. If a version with both images stuck together would be best, I can do that fine. Text other than the name doesn't work well at wiki size if I still want the name large, and just adding one extra word to each box messes up formatting. Ideas for wording are appreciated, though.

Basic version of first

Narrowed version of first

Basic version of second

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

[up][awesome] For the cut and paste.

[up][up] #3 is a little clearer than #1, and both "narrower" pics have obvious line artifacting.

[up][up][up] I have preference for #3 because it shows more characters and for including A Dog Named "Dog". I do like it better if it could be combined though.

So, what exactly is the benefit of replacing one "Face and a captions" with another "Face and a Caption"?

Well, technically if you look closely at the animals you see that their bodies are formed from the words of their names. Other than that? Not overly much benefit.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
