I don't think it looks like a glomp at all. It's a good picture.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I also don't think it looks like a glomp, since that's more or less an aggressive hug and she does not have her arms around him and it looks more like he caught her when she fell or slipped. I think it's good, but your suggestion is fine too.

"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."I like the OP suggestion.
An aggressive hug isn't quite the trope as well.
"A first impression wherein a character runs into another character as their first meeting."
Said character is just being very genre savvy about it (even more so is that she is actually Late for School, runs around the corner expecting it to happen gets disappointed when it does it only to turn around and get a Mentor Mascot in the face.. the image doesn't show that part though.... that is [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊ [4]◊ [5]◊.)
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I like the OP suggestion. The current one does look like the girl is so happy to see the man she runs into his arms for a hug.
I've known about it since the beginning. But I just refused to believe it.Clock is set.
The clock is up, and since we've got some consensus that the OP's suggestion is better than the current, can someone put those together in one pic and put it and the caption on the page? Thanks!
Which one?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDone, potholed, and tagged; locking up.
The current one does not look like the trope really it looks like The Glomp or Cry into Chest far far more than this.
What about this?
