Um, it didn't work because you didn't "twy", Lance! And I'm starting find this Aesop a little hamfisted. They've demonstrated the same lesson three times already.

It's kinda bad when the main protagonists are the least interesting part of the show. Though the same could be said for Eureka.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Alucard approves of the odd musical choice.
Was I the only one creeped out by Octus' forced grin?
It amused me, but I enjoy awkward things like that so my opinion not the best to judge from.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Warning in advance, this next TC episode is kind of bad.
Ah, I had almost forgotten about how abrasive Lion-O was in this episode. Poor Thunderkittens.
Wilhelm scream ahoy!

Aaannnd there's the crazy derp face.
Do we have a trope for when the main character encounter a captain ahab look a like. I've seen it a million times.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comLiked this episode personally. Lion-O's reactions to everything understandable given fact his dad just died and all. Of course, while understanding, he IS abrasive and not acting in right course of action - which I see as a good thing. It's a real flaw being shown.
Plus, as I said last week with Mustang's whole rage followed up by how they handle getting past it, I can just relate more with that so more interested than I would be if Lion-O was moping. The less I see people expressing their angst via crying and the like, the better. It's different, I understand that, and I respect others right to do so if that's their way - as long as doesn't get out of control and able to get past it - but it really bugs me. Not that I'm saying anger and such is any better. Again, it's a horrible trait to give into. Just relate better to it and thus enjoy seeing it in protagonist on top of where it leads them.
That and I don't think so, but who knows? Captain Ahab is a fictional characters I really enjoy, so I don't mind. And if there is not, we should make it.

#IceBearForPresidentWhen you only have a sword and grenade when fighting a tank and the tank runs away from you, you know you're badass.
Another one of my favorite moments in the series, just his return and everything that proceeds with him.

#IceBearForPresidentAnything special or cool happen on the block last night?
Also, what went wrong with Bleach?
Um...loli fanservice, smart exposition from an otherwise stupid character, continued physical attacks against a man who can dissolve all matter effortlessly....
We got a Thundercats promo. That was neat.
Samurai 7: The split parties continue back to the village. Green-haired guy is teased about his crush on that psychic chick. Village dude and his party disguise in drag and village dude saves them from getting caught by bandits by snapping and improving a performance routine to uphold their cover.
Casshern Sins: Dio's lady friend obtains eternal life from Luna, but it's not enough for her so she goes back for more and ends up paralyzed. Dio goes back for Casshern and saves him so they can fight as equals.
Eureka 7: Renton angsts about how to approach Eureka and Holland now that he knows their past. Holland and Talho have relationship issues. Also, Renton gets backboob twice.
Sym Bionic Titan: Generic teamwork moral pulled off in the funniest way possible: Octus shames them into agreeing by playing a kids-show song about teamwork and asking why they're having so much trouble with a little kid concept. Also, the general uses nukes on an unknown entity and creates a sentient destructive gas cloud.
Thundercats: Becomes Moby Dick: The Animated Series as Lion-O and crew end up on a boat of fish-people, the captain of which is determined to fight a giant anemone. Lion-O learns an important lesson about not sacrificing your friends for petty revenge.
FMA: Brotherhood: Armstrong v. Sloth wraps up with the Elrics' alchemy teacher and her husband (woops!) showing up. Sloth dies of overexertion and the four head off to fight zombies. The Fuehrer turns out to be alive and kicks the ass of that clawed dude and then fights Greed for a bit. Al's party's car breaks down.
GITS: Stand Alone Complex: In the first episode, the group takes down an assassin and a plot to rip off the Japanese government. In the second episode, the Tachikomas explore their self-awareness, the concepts of life and death and God and individuality, which leads to the Major suspending their use for the time being.
Cowboy Bebop: Spike sets off to fight someone from his past in the first episode after Faye does something stupid and gets kidnapped, and in the second chase the three chase after an immortal little boy with the appearence of Salim Bradly, the voice of Izzy from Digimon and the harmonica skills of Bob Dylan.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I wouldn't call wanting to get the guy who killed your father petty revenge. I'd call it understandable revenge. Just better to not act in hatred.

Shows how much he remembers staying up that late. XP
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987He only met her once back with Hohenheim.
The Reaper Games starts anew.
It's how obvious of an Aesop it is is the problem though. It's so blatant about "You need teamwork to succeed!", just such a blatantly played straight trope, especially when there is more interesting stuff being played up around it.
