Definitely needs something better...maybe a clip from that After Humans or something showing nature retaking civilization?
Bump, in the name of a vengeful Mother Nature.
I have a message from another time...Lord Of The Rings's ents attack on Isengard?
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!First thing that comes to mind.
Look out!◊
We're coming!◊
Take that, Sauraman!◊
Anyone for squash?
Of those, I like the first and third best. The first is fair use as a screencap from the movie, and the third we would need permission for but that guy has been nice in the past.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Without context, it's hard to tell. I suppose the caption can help?
Also, pick your quote, people. One has to go. I prefer the second.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I like the second, too.
Can the darkness be cast at with a magic missile to kill it off?
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. You trying to say that the image is too dark?
I have a message from another time...Not too dark, but it would help if it was less so.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Brightened and partially de-blued 5.2: [1]◊
(Although the trope is "Earth fights back" and no fighting is depicted there. I like the John Howe art◊ [image 5.3]. Also also, prefer second quote.)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. That art pic is a little more clear than the film screen.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Way more clear for me.
The smoke and fire swirling around Orthanc is a very nice touch. It really looks like a place that is ruining the earth.
I have a message from another time...Bumping for interest.
I have a message from another time...I like the John Howe artwork.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn! How about a picture of the reset bomb scene, or one of the forces of nature enemies in Kid Icarus Uprising? I don't have a picture but I felt like adding the idea.
I'm not sure how well that would work. Honestly, a Reset Bomb's results don't look like much of anything until Pit gets closer.
Also, wouldn't that constitute a spoiler?
But I suppose we could try it. I'm not in a position to do it in the moment, but it would probably necessitate a collage (flying —> impact —> close-up on the resultant forest)
I have a message from another time...This thing keeps losing interest. Can I at least make a call to pull the current image, for starters? It's doing nothing for us.
I have a message from another time...Gaea's Revenge, from Magic: the Gathering.
Alternately, Verdant Force.

...Not quite feeling those. The second one especially doesn't seem much different than most other Treefolk creatures.
I have a message from another time...The John Howe art is perfect. You can clearly see that the Ents are plant-like, and Orthanc looks like an evil smokestack standing in the middle of a Polluted Wasteland.
"@[=g3,8d]&fbb=-q]/hk%fg"Crowner?
Crowner wouldn't hurt.
"@[=g3,8d]&fbb=-q]/hk%fg"Blank crowner's hooked; plant and fertilize.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Right, so. The trope is about the forces of nature taking revenge, either directly, divinely, or by proxy, on those harming the planet. The picture is a tree, with a caption saying that it's planning to murder you.
I'm certain we can find something better than that.
Like, I dunno. I'm sure there's a shot from a show of, like, tree-roots crushing a factory, or something like that.
