Don't know if anybody here follows Making Fiends, but creator/webmaster Amy Winfrey did something quite fancy for this April Fool's Day.

(And after a 3 year long dry spell, too! I can't tell you how excited I was to see the new episode. )

I'm not very good at April Fool's Day pranks. Although I did discover today that crushing my best friend's hopes of something worked pretty well. The Facebook chat went like this;

Me: Did you hear?

R: About what?

Me: They pushed the American release date of The Pirates back another month.

R: WHY????

Me: April Fool's!

R: Hahaha! Okay, that was really good. XD

So basically I saw a bunch of "I'm pregnant. LOL April Fools" status's on Facebook today and one chick on my friends list posted some rant about how stupid that is because some women who want to get pregnant can't and it shouldn't be seen as a joke. I never thought of it that way, but I guess she does have a point, then again there are a lot of things that aren't a joke to people that are used as April Fools jokes or pranks, so I'm conflicted with what I agree with.

And, it is now no longer April Fools day on the west coast.

Bah!

I pulled no pranks.

Wanna know why?

Because everyone expects that!

I didn't do anything because I'm to mature t... I'm sorry, I can't finish that sentence with a straight face.

No. It's probably just open so we can talk about the aftermath. Just out of curiosity, did anyone do anything interesting themselves? I didn't go any further than convincing my mom that there was an elephant wandering through the streets of Seattle, but I'm sure that some of you did much better than that.

Weren't the Valentines threads open after Valentines Day? What does it matter, we should be entitled to talk about holidays (even lame ones like April Fools) whenever we please.

Mine cost me the toaster: somehow the remains of some small firecrackers I used was left inside it just as my little bro was toasing a bread...
