Music pages are work pages, not creator pages—if you see any typed as creators, please change them.

That was way back in October of last year, long before we finally decided on a Creator/ namespace. I was doing a mass move of pages on the Musicians index, and I started out setting them to work page type - and then I was told that creator name type was correct.
He sent me this following message on October 2:
"Hi Mod here.
When creating sub-pages such as Music.Procol Harum please set the page type to "creator or person". The page type tool is found under the Tools menu. Please see What Page Types Mean for more."

Music pages are work pages for documenting the tropes in the music. They should not be used as pages for documenting the band members' creator-stuff.

Actually, in that topic that Jicragg pointed out, I even asked if all the musician pages should be changed to work page type - and I was told, no, they're still creator page types.
I had asked this:
"According to this, we currently have 5,549 creator pages - so I guess we have that much to be moved to the Creator/ namespace. If we're gonna be creating Creator/ namespace pages for Real Life tropes of recording artists, then should their Music/ namespace counterparts be moved from the "creator" page type to "works" page type?"
and, later...

Then Fighteer, a mod, said this:
"The difference is cosmetic; both Creator and Work use the same style settings, as far as I know. However, a band is a Creator, not a work — we aren't (hopefully) writing articles for each song, album, or video."
The band is a creator. The music is a work. The works page for their music should be under Music.Band Name or Music.Musician Name. The creator page should be Creator.Band Name or Creator.Musician Name. The creator page should have appropriate content for a creator page, and the work page should document the tropes used in the music.
In most cases, a separate creator page is unnecessary because the musician won't be associated with works outside of the band in question, but sometimes they also have acting careers or other musical projects or whatnot.

Right, I understand that we can't apply tropes to real life people - and there are standards of what's appropriate for a creator page. In most cases, having a creator page for music is redundant - unless they are known for things outside of music.
Still, according to Fighteer, they're supposed to be creator type pages - and, since he's a moderator, I assume that he says goes. Unless we get official confirmation from a moderator that musician pages on the Music/ namespace should be considered works, I'm leaving things well enough alone. I did start out marking them as work type pages - and I was told that, no, musicians are creator type pages. So then I had to go back and fix it.

Incidentally, where is the Namespace Cleanup Project? I would like to help. So far, I moved Castle Crashers to the Video Game namespace.
Do you mean changing the namespace on wicks on other pages? If so, that would be Sandbox.Wick Namespace Migration.

This brings up to a little over 14,000 work pages that are now moved off the Main/ namespace. As some of these pages might be redirects, we might have a little less - but, hopefully, not by much.
I didn't include Music/ or WebOriginal/. Even though Music/ does include some songs and albums (mostly concept albums) - most of them are pages for bands and performers, which would be creator pages. As for WebOriginal, there is currently a move to either modify or excise that namespace - and, fortunately, there are only 321 pages in that namespace.
So, in that case, I guess we're almost halfway done. I think, we routinely keep statistics, if might help motivate us a little more on the namespace migration project.
ETA: I just realized that there are also some work pages on the DarthWiki/ namespace, which are unpublished projects - but probably not enough to make a significant difference.
